Shaun_300
Tonight I bought some new clubs from a friend of mine, well, used, but when I say used they've been only used for less than 5 games. So pretty much brand new. Only club I didn't upgrade is my driver. Here's what's in the bag now: Driver: Callaway X460 9 degree 3-wood: Callaway Big Bertha Fusion 15 degree 5-wood: RAM 19 degree 7-wood: Adams RPM Hybrid Iron: Ping G5 19 degree Irons: Ping i5 with custom steel shafts and grips 4-W Putter: "The Heavy Putter" and boy is that thing HEAVY! SuperMn106
That is cool. Congrats! Let me know how you like the Pings, I was thinking about trading in my Nikes' and going to Pings'. Let us know how you do on your first round with the new set.
Shaun_300
That is cool. Congrats! Let me know how you like the Pings, I was thinking about trading in my Nikes' and going to Pings'. Let us know how you do on your first round with the new set. Well I tell ya, I already hit a ton of balls, my buddy I bought them off is the Pro/Instructor at the driving range I go to, I bet I hit close to 200 balls tonight with them. It is night and day with those Pings, I absolutely love them. I bet over 90% of them went right where I was aiming. The shafts are nice and stiff for me too, which accommodate my powerful swing a lot better than the old ones do, which prevents the hooking and slicing. The Callaway Fusion 3-wood is just like my driver, I can absolutely HAMMER them.... The range is only marked to 250 yards, and I could hit that with the 3 wood, and a lot of my shots with my driver will land past the 250 mark and roll to around 280-285. That's with the range balls though. With my Pro-V1's I hit a couple drives last night on the course past the 300 mark.
