Tony
yep after 6 weeks off i was out rechecking my sights for my Protec hunting bow. its still on out to 60 yards with field points. after a little more practice i will be switching over to broadheads. no problem this bow is setup just like last year and the arrows and broadheads were dialed in also. kinda nice not to make any changes to your setup and just get right into shooting form and not have to worry about setting the bow up.. after all the work and moving stuff i needed to get back into shooting. JDAWG
Wow, 60 yds? You have enough open space to shoot that long? I'm don't like to shoot more than 35-40 yds at a deer. Too much time for something to go wrong. Good luck this year.
toddyboman
I have a pin for 60 yards. Don't think I would ever shoot at a deer that far but its fun for the backyard range :)
Tominator
Sure wish I could buy an hour so I could shoot my bow.
Squirrelhunter91
Good deal Tony. I was shooting yesterday getting my 40 yard pin all dialed in. I have 3 pins on my sight and I think I'm gonna go 20,40,60.

Good luck this year. im lucky enough to have access to a great place to practice and can shoot out to 80 yards. yes i do have a 50 and 60 yard pin for my hunting bow. they are strickly for shots if i put an arrow into a deer and he gives me another shot opportunity i will be ready for a longer shot. yes some of the places i hunt i can shoot out to 50 and 60 yards if i wanted too. but some other places i hunt i can only get a 20 yard shot. a bowhunter that cant adapt to any given situation is limited and i prefer to not limit my chances in getting a deer with bow.. i do not prefer to take a long shot if i can help it. my normal max for deer hunting is 40 yards. but i prefer a 20 yard gimme anyday...
