Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
anyone else's allergies start acting up around this time of year? i can barely stand to be outside right now, ESPECIALLY with fresh cut grass, ugggh, my eyes are itching bad right now. it has taken me 3 days to mow the lawn, i usually do it in sections and each section takes about 45 minutes, so i do it in 2 days..but right now, i can't take it, can only be out there for an hour at a time before i have to come in. eyes start itching and watering, nose starts running, ears start itching...that is the worse of it all no matter how hard you try, that itch just won't go away. i take an allegra..every now and then and it sometimes help, but right now they are kickin my rear!! wtnhunt
Have some problems with allergies and sinus problems, zyrtec works for me most of the time, but I dont have any refills left. Not sure if I am coming down with a sinus infection or some other sort of summer time crud, but think I am going to have to get in to the family doctor to get something to take care of whatever it is I have going on right now. Did not get much sleep last night, was up coughing most of the night, have had a runny nose and been coughing, and sneezing all day today. kooter
I have really bad allergies for most of the summer and fall until it freezes. I have been taking Claritin D the 24 hour stuff and it has seemed to help me. It is over the counter but you have to show your ID to buy it because of what is is made out of I guess. archerjg
I have severe allergies and year round I get allergy shots and have three pills that I take to keep me from having too many symptoms. I also have severe asthma and my allergies can and do set it off so I take great precautions to keep everything under control. Good luck I hope that you can get things straightened out soon. Leo
I'm allergic to Allegra! Go figure, allergic to an allergy medicine. Not really surprising because I found out a long time ago if a product says Hypo-allergenic on it, it's gonna give me a rash! So all this trendy stuff that's never been tested on animals or is hypo-allergenic really makes me miserable. If I set foot in a Bath and Body Works looking for my wife, I risk a migraine and breaking out in hives. When the pollen starts really blowing here my head turns into a snot fountain. Flonase makes my nose bleed and Claritin typically is only effective for a couple days, then it completely quits helping. Best stuff for me is astilin. Because I have TMJ from my accident a sinus flare up can be painful to boot. I'm with you MB, allergies are miserable.

I suffer from allergies now too. Muff mentioned the dry weather. Right now that dry weather is actually helping my allergies. As soon as it rains I fear the ragweed will do it's thing and I will then suffer. As for meds I used to take Allerest till the changed the formula. Now I take the stuff behind the counter, THE GOOD STUFF!
