Squirrelhunter91
Well I missed a shot yesterday on a squirrel with my bow. I'm going bow only this year.. Atleast early on I am. We'll see if I can get a pellet gun after Christmas.. But a rock I didn't see got the better part of my arrow. The gray rock looked like part of the grey squirrel so I let the arrow fly, saw a spark and recovered a busted arrow.
Tominator
I've sparked a few arrows in my day Joe.

Bachflock
FINALLY some pictures - let's make it official... Took me awhile - guess I'd better invest in a digital camera... 12" Fox 10" Fox 10" Black The same black squirrel with a fine mess of stumpers. Both tasted GREAT. We're officially in the books! More pictures comin'. I knocked down three two days ago but will share the results WHEN the pictures come in later this week.
Deb
Hey Bachflock, what kind of mushrooms are those? Nice squirrels.
Bachflock
I grew up calling them stumpers. A lot of people call them honeys. I love them fresh, sauteed with butter, garlic. Oh yeah. Here's some more info on them but like any mushroom NEVER pick and eat it unless you are 110% sure of its identification. Bachflock
Pics! Wow - must be everyone out bow hunting! LOL These took me long enough. I shot these about 3 weeks ago - give or take. Work has been crazy and my free time has been either family or turkey hunting. So, sorry for the delay. I apologize for the quality. I'm still trying to figure out why its pixilating the image so much. Suggestions? (HP PSC750 Scanner/Copier/Printer). 12" Gray 13" Gray 13" Fox Lastly, it was a GREAT day in the woods! Squirrelhunter91
I just looked at this thread and said to myself.. " Whoa!! " I totally forgot about this contest. Sorry!!! I've been so busy working and if I'm not working, I'm bowhunting!! Well, I've got two in the freezer so I may focus on squirrels for a little while. Bachflock
Y'all must be out deer hunting! LOL Turkey season ends here in a week and my week off has turned into a lot of things OTHER than any hunting what so ever. Squirrel season is closed here from Nov 14th through the 30th then open again until March. I forget - when does this contest end?
M00N
Welp, I finally lucked out and got an entry for my team. This is the first squirrel I've shot since I was 13, so I was quite excited to get one. I'm thinking about getting her mounted, since I didn't destroy her too badly with my .410 Shotgun. My father and I measure her tail out to 11 5/8" or 11.625". I included a larger cropped version of the same picture in the corner of this picture to see the tape measure better. If you want the full version of the picture I can e-mail it, but it's 2832 x 2128 pixels and 2.76 MB.
need2hunt
Looks like I might finally have a weekend open to chase squirrels around!
