Bachflock
Been crazy around here. We had a fairly warm spell and squirrels were everywhere. Didn't make it out though. Now its "up" to 12 degrees with about 6" of fresh snow. Getting out is going to be tough.

Jeramie
I need to get some pics on here! If I enter the three I have in the bag right now it may be enough to take the lead! Look for an update this weekend.

Bachflock
You guys are killing me! I've made it out once since the fall season, it was 5 degrees and the windchill was -20. Sort of takes the heart right out of it. Oh well. Well done! The chances of me getting out again before the end of the season are pretty slim. RangerClay
Here is squirrel #5 and an upgrade for team 3. Squirrel #5 is 12-1/4" I would like to upgrade my 11-1/4" squirrel to a 12". I also need to give credit where it is due. This is my hunting buddy Sadie, the best squirrel dog I know of. Without her I would not harvest as many squirrels as I do. Bachflock
Nice looking dog. I'm trying to get my dog in-tune with squirrel hunting. I'm not sure if I'll ever get to the point where I'm comfortable with him off a leash but he sure does recognize what a squirrel is. If I could get him to stay on the tree I'd be happier. Jeramie
Ok, as usual my busy life cut into my squirrel season. Typically I try to get out at least a couple times a month. This past year I made it out twice...... Literally. I do however have a couple of tree rat pics. Btw, it was a bag em all day. Youll see a couple of ducks in the pics too... Sorry I didnt get these up sooner Partner. I actually had three squirrels but dads camera crapped out on me. Squirrel one.... 12" Squirrel two was actually around 14" but it was just a few sprigs of hair so what do you think P? 13 1/2" or 13 3/4"
Turkeygirl
I was going to enter this yesterday but was swamped with school. This is to replace my one squirrel with the 10.50" tails. Got this one back in October, 12.25"-12.50" tail....you make the call Chris. Good job this year everyone! Sorry ya didn't get out after squirrels more Joe but hey, there's next year! Tominator
Reading back through these posts to update scores I realized I initially said contest runs through today, not yesterday, so, today is the last day to enter a squirrel. Unless somebody shoots a few mutant squirrels it looks like Mr. Smoot single handedly won this contest, lol.
Squirrelhunter91
Well.. I shot one with a 12" tail and unfortunately was unable to get it up online. I just got a new computer and have the pics on the other one, which isn't hooked up to the internet anyway. I tried emailing them to Chris when the old pc was hooked up, but it wouldn't send. I was having a bunch of problems with it. I doubt it would've helped our score anyway.
Tominator
Looks like Slughunter and Gary are the winners. Good job to all. Looks like we had more participation this year and less no shows. Slug and Gary PM me your address and I'll see what kind of stuff Scott will be sending if anything. If you would put into a hat the names of all that entered a squirrel into the contest and draw someone out and they can have my prize. It's always a good time hunting with you all! How about we donate your prizes to Dartonman's hunter's ed. class? I'm cool either way. I haven't emailed Scott yet, so I don't even know if prizes are available. Bachflock
Congrats Gary and Slughunter! Even though I didn't get as much hunting time in as I wanted to I did get more in this season than the last 3 years combined thanks to the contest. I loved it! Well done... M00N
Congratulations Gary and Slughunter! Thanks goes out to Vance for being a great teammate and shooting a lot of squirrels! I wish I could have got out more or got more squirrels, but I didn't have as much luck as I wish I did. Also a big thank you to Chris for running this contest again this year!
