Jakapr
Awhile back I asked about mineral licks and Trophy rock was recommended. I bought one at Cabelas in Prairie. Today Jon and I went to the field to check how it was doing. It has been there 3 weeks.
FSU_Seminole
No doubt they really work. I have them placed around all over my land.
wtnhunt
Dont know what it is that is in them that is so different, but they do seem to work better than any other mineral I have used, just too bad they are not a little cheaper. wtnhunt
How much are they? Depends where you get them Chris. Cheapest place I have found them is our local coop. They had them for $13.
Guest totalscaf
This is good to hear, I put some out about 3 weeks ago but haven't checked them yet. I think that I bought mine at BPS for about $15.00 ea.
TKLambert
This is the only mineral, besides a block, that I will spend my hard earned money on!!!!!! They found it instantly too!
MCH
Jakapr, are you sitting it out in that container??? Those things are great when they start saturating the ground. The majority of my trophy rocks keep trenches around them from the deer digging into the earth.
maddhunter
MCH is right Jakapr, put it on the ground and they will come long after it is gone. These things really work great and are good for them too. I got lucky this year, when we were coming back from Branson'MO this summer we stopped at BPS in Springfield. I first went into the outlet store and found Trphy Rock for $5 a piece, bought as many as I could !!!
okiedog
I first went into the outlet store That outlet store is Awesome! I stopped in there back in June and loaded up on Scent Lok clothes.
Jakapr
trophy rock Jon uses the containers because he doesn't want the deer digging up the ground. he has been using the same containers for his salt blocks. Jack

Griz
Yeah those rocks are awesome alright. I put one out last year and I couldn't believe what they did to it. This year I have them out again. I can pick them up here for 12 to 14 bucks. Depends on which feed store has them...
