FSU_Seminole
Hey guys, I was wondering something. What kind of plant or shurb other than corn could I plant for privacy? My property ajoins with another property & I've been having trouble with tresspassing teenage kids with ATVs. I plan on putting up a barb wire fence but I also want to grow a pant shurb or a row of small trees that will grow quickly for next hunting season. Not only will the fence keep them out but I want to plant something to where they can't even look on my land. My girlfriend suggested I plant redtips? I think that's what she said. Any other shurbs or small trees you guys can suggest? Thanks.
wtnhunt
Pines grow pretty quick, and will make a nice barrier, but they do not stay small.

Yeah thats the problem, I was hoping for a tree or shrub that will grow between 9-15 feet.

Think the problem you are going to likely find with most fast growing trees is that they will not remain small. Some kind of shrub is probably going to be your best bet, but no sure which type to suggest.

So far I found red tips to be the best but if anyone else has a shrub to suggest let me know.
ousoonerfan22
Cedars grow fairly quick and will limit visibility when planted 4'-5' apart.
