muggs
Why don't you slackers see if you can make this thread last a little going than my last NFL predicition thread, huh? Here's my picks and some annoying reasoning behind them. AFC East 1. New England (because of Brady, not Belichik 2. Miami (best of the worst) 3. Buffalo (too many ?’s sorry Kev) 4. NY Jets (last year’s fluke) North Baltimore (does the D ever get old?) Steelers (benefiting for the weakest division is a while) Bengals (no D) Browns (still a ways off) South 1. Indianapolis (not going any where in the post season) 2. Jacksonville (best of the worst) 3. Houston (improved team) 4. Tennessee (Vince Young stinks) West 1. Sad Diego (Super Bowl bound?) 2. Denver (I like Cutler) 3. Raiders (only because KC is gonna be terrible) 4. Kansas City (worst in the league- why I didn’t draft LJ) NFC East 1. Philadelphia (McNabb is unreal) 2. Dallas (good D, Romo’s average) 3. NY Giants (Eli Stinks) 4. Washington (umm…yeah) North 1. Chicago (benefit from the weakest division) 2. Green Bay (I like their D) 3. Detroit (not buying it- McMillen is the worst) 4. Minnesota (Travarius who?) South 1. New Orleans (Super Bowl bound) 2. Carolina (best of the worst) 3. Tampa Bay (only just better that HOTlanta) 4. Atlanta (gonna be a long year) West 1. St. Louis (sick offense) 2. Seattle (wild card team) 3. Arizona (they’re getting close) 4. San Fran (also getting really close)

Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
Vince Young stinks????What planet are you from?? one thing you gotta understand..more B.S. comes out of muggs than a cow with diarrea ...muggs thinks everyone outside of a browns uniform stinks....he wasn't a fan of Brady Quinn until he got drafted by the browns, now he has a man crush on him. if Vince young were ever to wear a browns uniform, muggs would be the first on his band wagon and probably sleep next to a cardboard cutout of him every night. Guest Finn
AFC East 1. New England 2. NY Jets North Baltimore Steelers South 1. Indianapolis - even though I don't like Manning 2. Jacksonville - what's up with them releasing Leftwich? I never liked him, but dang West 1. Sad Diego 2. Denver - Cutler is going to be a stud NFC East 1. Dallas - if Romo doesn't lose focus dating all them hot chicks 2. Philly - McNabb won't make the full season Norse 1. Green Bay - Because we have #4 2. Chicago - praying for many more QB ratings of 0 this season South 1. New Orleans - we'll see if last year was a fluke West 1. Seattle - 2. San Fran
muggs
Sorry, I'm not blown away by a QB with poor mechanics and a 50% completion percentage. I'm not the only guy (most of us live outside of Tennessee) who has that take either. I know he's on the cover of Madden and everything, but if it wasn't for one long scramble that won a game, he wouldn't have done anything last year. I also don't think a backfield of Chris Brown, LenDale White, and Chris Henry is gonna scare too many people either, and their defense isn't good at all. Who's he gonna throw the ball to anyway and whose providing the protection?? David Givens...Jacoby Jones...yeah, talk about a dynamic offense. Don't drink the Kool-Aid boys. Young's everyone's sexy pick right now, he'll be exposed and reality will sink in by mid-season. Leinhart was the best QB in that draft class, the Titans shouldn't have passed on him. Now, note the date, mark this down, and then come back to me in November so I don't have to say "I told ya so.";)
buckbuster11
AFC East 1. New England (Brady, Moss. Stallworth, Maroney...nuff said) 2. NY Jets (Solid at most positions...not great....but solid) 3. Buffalo (JP Losman...and a rookie RB) 4. Miami (Defense is getting old and slow, so is their QB.) North 1. Cincinnati (Palmer will put them on his back) 2. Pittsburgh (Could be the best in the division but to many ?'s at this point) 3. Baltimore (Lost one of their best on D, McGahee will not as good as everyone thinks, McNair is 78 years old) 4. Cleveland (Young and inexperienced, to many ?'s at QB) South 1. Indy (See the 41-10 beatdown on the Saints last night) 2. Jacksonville ( QB stinks....great D though) 3. Tennessee ( Outside of Vince Young....no talent) 4. Houston ( Good thing they passed on Bush and Young last year eh?) West 1. San Diego (Maybe the most complete team in the NFL. LT=TD's Merrimam=steroids....errrrrrrr.....sacks) 2. Denver (Big time defense this year and improved offense, could give Chargers a run for their money) 3. Kansas City (Who is their QB again?) 4. Oakland (Nice defense, putrid on offense.) NFC East 1. Dallas (Big year for T.O coming) 2. Philly (Same problem they had before T.O, no receivers) 3. NY Giants ( No Tiki, Eli is average, defense is iffy) 4. Washington (Is Jason Campbell their starting QB?) North 1. Chicago (wins by default) 2. Detroit (I'll take the bait, the offense looks dang good...on paper) 3. Green Bay (Still lacking depth and experience almost everywhere....except QB of course) 4. Minnesota (If Oklahoma healthy Peterson translates into Minnesota healthy Peterson they could be a force to reckon with) South 1. Carolina (Bounce back year, defense is awesome) 2. New Orleans ( The NFL has the swing pass to Bush figured out, Colston and Henderson are average, name one guy on their defensive front 7) 3. Tampa Bay ( Just a little better then Atlanta) 4. Atlanta ( Season went down the toilet about 2 months ago) West 1. Seattle (solid D, Alexander is back and healthy) 2. St. Louis ( if they only had some defense) 3. San Fran (just a little better then Arizona) 4. Arizona ( one year away)
