I don't have all of the particulars or specifics on the Goats that were taken so Steve B. will have to try and fill us in on that info, so I will just post the email I got from Steve today ... ;)

Look what bonehead did ...

ER, I mean, bonehunter. (sorry Dana. i had to. I've been giggling about that all week....) he got pretty well cheated on a hunt, here he drove 14 hours, and only got to hunt 3 hours, and arrowed this guy.. :D

next day, his brother got one also.

Now, look at what Dana made me. As you know, he specializes in carving antlers into morel mushrooms. I sent him some antlers, and look what he made, absolutely a treasure. I've got a place in Alaska for this stunning display. The elk antler was a pickup on Dakota's hunt last year. The deer head was a pickup on a deer hunt last year. The other horns were also pickups, what a great put-together. thank you, Dana, and congratulations.

Awesome hunt by the sound of it. Short isn't a bad thing. Now they get to sit back and listen to Steve's stories for a while :D

The only thing I wish could happen Steve,,, is that everyone here could have the HONOR that you and I have already experienced,, and that's just meeting this man in person for just a short time ... ;);) it's an experience they were sure to never forget ..:)

And I'm sure Dana and his brother will attest to this mans willing to give and help with NO questions asked and without hesitation .. And his sense of humor is second to non..:D;)

HA HA HA HA HA I'm truly laughing my butt off, I owe you steve! :) Just for everyone to know who doesn't know Steve is an incredible guy to know and to have spent time with. The mans sense of humor made everything that much more fun as you could tell :). We wasn't there and have met the man and my brother got it right in the face literally :). His family is awesome they treated us like there own family even though Stves wife had just returned home from very major surgery. By the way hope she's feeling better. The hunt was awesome . I couldn't even begin to tell you how many trophies we seen and Luke the big one is still out there TRUST ME. Short was great for me there was no way I was going to wait for a bigger one with this one in front of me! It actually worked out well for me because I had alrerady agreed with my brother that he was to get first shot . He had never taken a big game animal before at all. S o I wanted to make this hunt special for him but it turned out that he wasn't comfortable with a 45 to 50 yard shot but I was. So we agreed that if they came in across the water hole I would shoot. They did. :) :) :) I took a 48 yrd shot and smoked him. I will try to get some pics of my brothers goat posted when I recieve them. Got the hunts on video too. I'm ready to go back that's for sure. Steve Thanks again for the unforgetable memories.
