The race Dale died in was my first nascar race I ever watched, so I never got to really watch him race, just afterwards Id see bits and peices and clips. I wish that I had gotton into racing sooner, as I would like to have watched him race more. I was inspired by racing and 3 years later I strapped myself into my own car for the first time. I havent ever really gotton very far with it, a couple wins here and there but nothing like I had hoped for, but I feel like I could really conect with the movie, because I too had been in the same situations on a smaller scale. That was an excellant movie and really made me realise that he was a blue collar man, just as they said, and I can really appreciate that. Very well done indeed. I teared up there at the end a little myself:(

The day Dale Earnhardt died NASCAR changed forever. It will never be the same. The guy really WAS NASCAR. He talked, they listened.

Why do you think they made up the Chase format? Ratings dropped as the best driver ever died and it has had an impact on NASCAR. The man in black had a HUGE fan following, he was intimidating on the track but a teddy bear off from it and loved to help out but always wanted it to be kept a secret about his generosity.

The sport died that day and still is dying. Jr. is his own man and will never replace his dad but maybe in time things will change but I doubt it. Dale was simply the best and when he was on he was on!! If you seen him at Daytona or Talladega he could make moves that were jaw dropping. He claimed to see the air at 190 MPH and I think the air was even intimidated by him! :)

I watched it also and it really did a good job showing the type of man Dale was and what he went through until the time of his untimely death, your average man that made his dreams a reality while balancing family and stardom to become a icon not only in nascar but also in the history of professional sports,a real Legend.Long live the memory of Dale Earhnhardt Sr,may his memory live forever

I've waited since February to see this movie and was definitely not disappointed!!! I had heard the reviews from Jr. about the movie and even he said it was more then he had ever seen of his father. I sometimes forget that Dale Sr. really loved Teresa and that was his wife and disrespecting her is the same as disrespecting his memory. I also didn't know or forgot that he was with her since he started racing in NASCAR. I just think she made poor judgment in a few business deals with Jr. Great Movie and they deserve an emmy for the whole thing.
