wildthing
Does anyone else out there have a camo addiction? I can't seem to get enough of the Realtree camo patterns. Especially hats, shirts, and other garments...I buy and buy and buy Finally Under Armor came out this year with a fitted camo hat featuring Realtree's All Purpose pattern. I dropped $30.00 on a hat without a second thought... My girlfriend and mom think I am nuts...personally, women have no room to talk when it comes to spending money! haha... wildthing
haha... I always tell her "it's a guy thing" Last year at this time, I bought a brand new truck. After I picked it up, I immediately drove 40 miles to the closest Cabela's and bought camo seat covers...my girlfriend thought I was nuts and wouldn't sit in the truck..,it was amuzing, but her stubborness lasted about 10 minutes...she is not a hunter...but likes to hear my stories. Someone needs to produce camo pattern bed cover, or maybe a bed cover with a big Team Realtree logo in the middle would be cool too. (my ideas are free Mr. Jordan...haha)

Mach1
My brother is a camo addict. Camo seat covers for his truck, camo sheets for his bed, wears a camo t-shirt nearly everyday. If something is made in Realtree camo, he would like to have it. One of my big purchases for my F150 I bought last October was a set of camo seat covers from Marathon Seat Covers. A bit pricey for my Crew Cab, but the Max-4 camo looks sweet.
JimPic
I have a few camo hats and some camo clothes but I mostly wear plaids and earth-tone colors for hunting
Turkeygirl
"personally, women have no room to talk when it comes to spending money! haha" "yes women do spend alot of money on stuff they dont need" I'd be careful of generalizations....you'll find plenty of women on here who love camo. Other women might find what you say offensive. Me - I can't afford to buy the really nice stuff like scentlock...but I can hunt just fine, and yes, I love RT's new camo also, especially the AP - I have a cabela's jacket in it and a turkey vest both I bought in the spring. Other women might find what you say offensive. Ditto what turkeygirl said. I actually only really ever spend money on hunting gear and computer gear and only when I need it. I don't buy things just to impress others, nor because it's a "fad" thing to own, or just to hoard things. I manage my money well and know when it is and isn't a good time to buy something new or replace something old. I know quite a few men who can't even come close to the discipline I have with managing money and are always broke because of it. Money spending addictions are not gender based it goes both ways. As far as camo addiction to Realtree? I wouldn't call it an addition to the point where I have to always bring home a camo item from the outdoor store everytime I go. I'd call it more a strong preference, liking, and loyalty to the company and their camo patterns. I can't afford to be too picky sometimes, though. When I need a specific hunting item that item becomes more important to me than the camo pattern on it. If I end up with something Realtree, which so far I've lucked out and managed to get in most of my hunting gear, then that's a major lucky bonus. If that item I did want though didn't come in a Realtree camo pattern or was out of stock in that pattern, I wouldn't back-order it just for the camo pattern though and would take home the "other" brand of camo pattern instead. I just can't afford at the moment to be that picky. If I ever hit the lottery of course then I'd be a bit more picky and able to afford the extra money to ensure I get the camo pattern I want on my stuff, but my chances of ever hitting the lottery are slim to none. lol As far as my favorite Realtree camo patterns. Here's my list. Realtree AP HD Realtree APG HD Realtree Hardwoods Green HD Realtree Hardwoods HD Realtree Hardwoods Blaze HD Realtree Hardwoods Snow HD Advantage Timber HD
Guest Guideman
I to have an " addiction " to Realtree Cammo and I am not admitting this to get help. I don't need " Cammo anonymous ' or " Cammo-anon " some 12 step program to cure the addiction to hiding in the woods comfortably. Nope, rather I prefer the 150 steps from the Realtree Cammo in Bass Pro to the registers up front. My Wife is very good about this as I never buy clothes or anything during the year. Her?? $200-300 purses every 3 months. We won't even discuss the shoes and accessories. Sheesh.
