Guest roadkill86
Well i went to the archery shop yesterday and bought a grayling flecth jig and som e blazers vanes. I ask the guy there about the quick spins and he said that there wasn't much difference in the blazers and quick spins. Is he right has anyone compared the two? I was also wondering about some arrows wraps .What is the difference in the wraps and regular spray paint .I know i read on here where a guy paint his arrows instead of wrapp them and where is the best place to buy wraps . Iwas also gona ask about some flecth glue i was wondering what is some good gli=ue that will hold and they not fly off.I was thinking about goat tuff. I used it on my inserts and man they really stuck. I don't really carer about the drying time because i am in no hurry . Iwas also gona ask do you fletch over the wrap or do you leave a space where your fletching go. Thanks for taking the time to read .All help is appreciated

Mainly in weight and shape.. I was also wondering about some arrows wraps .What is the difference in the wraps and regular spray paint .I know i read on here where a guy paint his arrows instead of wrapp them and where is the best place to buy wraps .Wraps weigh more than paint but are faster to apply. Iwas also gona ask about some flecth glue i was wondering what is some good gli=ue that will hold and they not fly off.I was thinking about goat tuff. I used it on my inserts and man they really stuck. I don't really carer about the drying time because i am in no hurry .Goat tuff is good glue and will work with fletches quite well. Iwas also gona ask do you fletch over the wrap or do you leave a space where your fletching go. Over the wrap Thanks for taking the time to read .All help is appreciated
toddyboman
What type of rest do you use??? If you use a WB then the blazers will be much better. They hold up to the biscuit about a 1000 times better than the quick spins. If you do not use a WB either will work just fine.
Brad6639
Ive used both, Ive never shot a deer with the blazers yet, but hopefully that will change in 10 days or so! I shot an 8 pointer last year at 27 yards with the qwikspins, and Ive noticed they do make a noise when they fly, sort of a hiss or a whistle. The blazers dont seem to do that at all, and they hold up a broadhead well for their size. I had 4 inch qwikspins last year, and a 100 grain 3 blade head. This year Ill either be using the hellrazer 100 or the muzzy mx4 100 grains. I have 3 inch blazers on my axis full metal jackets and they have nice flight with the mx4's. The wraps are cleaner, and there nice because they go on fast with no drying time. Ive only fletched a few arrows in my life, and I used the bohning platinum, and wasnt reallly impressed. The vanes do go over top the wrap though. An interesting fact a buddy and i learned last year was that we could make our own wraps from vinyl, as he has his own vinyl shop for trucks and race cars etc., and we just cut them on his machine and wrapped them on. I think the dimensions were 1.25 x 5 or 6 inches for my 400 shafts that I used on my old bow. I have a droptine wb, and the blazers are taking the abuse. Last year I had a trophy taker with the qwikspins and they took it well, but I havnt shot them out of a wb.

I use Whisker Biscuit rest, and Blazers work great. I dont use a helical, I use a straight clamp with a 2-3 degrees right offset. Paint is lighter, but a more of a pain to do, JMO. I use wraps, they allow a better adhesion to the shaft, plus they make your arrows look better. You want some wraps, go here>>> www.onestringer.com Best prices and great service!
