MUDRUNNER
...I'm off to Ohio for the weekend!I've been looking forward to this trip for months now.Goint to Rossburg with some friends to see the super late model World 100 at Eldora Speedway. It's quite the event and the racing is usually awesome. We camp right across from the track along side about 25,000 other dirt racing fans. When I get back only three more weeks till October 1! I'll see ya back here on Monday!
AdvantageTimberLou
That is awesome even if they do race on dirt! LOL!! You might see a guy I know there, #55 Jeep VanWormer. The kid can drive that is for sure. Then again that is all he has done, race cars!! Have fun and enjoy the race. Biggest dirt race for Super Late Models in the US I do believe. Wonder if Tony Stewart will drive a car in it? LOL!! I bet he does! Will be a tough just to make the big show!!

Brad6639
I wish I could go, Eldora is the kind of them all. Last month me and my car owner went up to the USA Nationals in Cedar Lake. It was an awesome race, Birkhofer ended up taking the show with bloomquest closing fast. There is nothing better than Late model dirt trackin! I hope you have fun, theres a ton of people wishing they could be there watching right along with you!

MUDRUNNER
Well I made it back in one piece. Not much sleep over the weekend, but lots of rain.Qualifying was delayed 2 hours,so they weren't done Friday night till about 3:30 in the morning and the race was put off till yesterday afternoon.Jimmy Owens set fast time at 15.69 and won the feature from 13th spot in a Bloomquist chassis. Lou, I've talked to Jeep a few times...he's a great kid.He started 23 and ended up 5th.He's really improved the last 3 years and is a threat to win anywhere he races. He's getting quite a fan base and I bet sells almost as many shirts as Bloomquist does. Man,do these campgrounds get roudy! You see things here that you just don't see many other places.
Brad6639
Do you know how Birkie did?
MUDRUNNER
Birkhoffer ran 3rd in the heat, but broke early on in the feature and finished in the back. Do you run super late models Brad?
Brad6639
Naw, but I sure would love to some day. Id rather race one of them more than any other kind of racing including nascar. I always raced in the bandit class with dodge neons, but would love to strap into a super late someday!
