buckee
Never tried it here because we don't have acorns. Why the thumbs down, if just asking a question ?

Guest bowhuntr_15
It might just be here in Oklahoma, but I've been using it for about a month down here and the deer love it. I cant keep it out! But it is expensive!!
sskybnd
ive used 3 bags of it so far, i put it over my corn, now whether they liked it or not i dont know, but they ate all the corn to the bare ground,
southbunch
With a late frost this past spring, I am thinking that alot of the acorn producing trees got bit and are not going to drop alot of fruit. If my thinking is right, I believe that this product my be the ticket here in Okie land. What do you'all think?
Guest bowhuntr_15
yeah im kinda feeling the same way you are. My thinking was if I start puttin this acorn rage out before the real acorns start dropping(even if there is quite a few this year) the deer will know exactly where "my" acorns are already!! Just my thinking though. Its workin so far, but the acorns hadnt start dropping yet though!! But anyways bout the frost im thinkin the that the acorns might be not as abundant as some people are thinkin.
southbunch
I'm going to put some of this stuff out today and put my trail cam on it. I'll let folks know in 2-3 weeks what I come up with.
Flintlock1776
Big white acorns!! Real acorns are fat this year (big snow a coming?) so I've been saving them in a plastic bag and sticking them in the freezer. I'll defrost them around the rut and see how they work then:D
Jorden
I use this stuff and the deer absolutally love it...I just did a little hole in the ground and pour it in...they usually have it all gone in about a week
Bowtech_archer07
lol!!!! I have never used it either.... just hunt the real thing and they will come... Definitely, if you have acorns in your area, the deer will come and feed on them.

MCH
Not saying the late frost didn't affect some trees, but the mast crop I'm seeing is fairly good. Seen several white oaks that are loaded down. BTW--can you tell where I'll be come the 1st???
Guest madabouthuntin
I will tell you this much.... at $29.99 for a 16 lb bag of the stuff (per their web site), I'll let everyone else see how good it works. I'll stick to corn. It's much cheaper to use! Don't get me wrong. I think it is going to be a great product, but at the price I can eat very, very, very well! southbunch
HEY!!! this stuff really works. I put some out on 9-9 with my trail cam on it and I couldn't stand waiting very long so I went out and pulled my camera on 9-14. I had a small buck, a doe and two yearlings eating this stuff within 24 hours of putting this stuff on the ground ( total of 60+ pics) I'm gonna put cam back out asap with corn instead of acorn rage to see if there is a big difference. Flintlock1776
More info needed :-) HEY!!! this stuff really works. That results will be interesting to see. Lots of deer on your place or is the stuff pulling in more deer since you started using it?
TreeWalker
There changed for you all...LOL Why the thumbs down, if just asking a question ?
MichiganHunter
I have use one bad about a week ago and it works really well, i have an area that is droppin acorn pretty well but the deer action has been spottie, kind of fallowing the heavy winds that are knockin them down, so I put out a bag to see what happened and they distroyed the area where it was, I put my scouting camera up in the area to see what is still in the area. southbunch
That results will be interesting to see. Lots of deer on your place or is the stuff pulling in more deer since you started using it? Don't know about "lots of deer" on my place, but if a guy can see deer almost every time he's out hunting, I guess thats fairly decent and it doesn't hurt to be hunting next to a state game and wildlife refuge either. almost forgot: THANKS! mule659
I have been using it and it seems to work great
dbHunterNY
Haven't used it. I live in NY so I think using Acorn Rage is not legal to use. - Dan
