LifeNRA
LOL!!! :D I was out shooting tonight. Shot all broadheads, 25, 35, and 45 yards. I put new 3" squares on the Yellowjacket. Once I was done I almost cut them off the target! I was VERY happy with my shooting tonight! I think I am ready! ;) Now if the season would just GET HERE!!!
Brad6639
Im broadhead practicing either this weekend or next week. Im still torn between 3 heads to use, hence the procrastination. Im either using the mx4's, hellrazers, or the montec's.
VermontHunter
I'll be looking for that picture with a nice whitetail John.. I put a couple WASP heads that my father will be using, on my Maximas the other day just to see how they would fly from my setup and at 35 yds. they were dead on, infact so on, that I now have to refletch some blazer vanes.... :D

LifeNRA
I KNOW , I KNOW,, I KNOW MUZZY'S !! Right ?? .. Ding, ding, ding!!! You are correct! This year, after I paper tuned the bow, these Muzzy's are flying like my FT! So glad I took them Rage's back!
Hoyt03
I always thought you were a spitfire shooter.
LifeNRA
I always thought you were a spitfire shooter. I never shot anything but fixed blades. I really fell into the Rage thing about two months ago. But after hearing about the tests and such I decided to not use them. The Muzzy's are flying much better this year for me. Only thing I can think of is that I paper tuned the bow. Last year I couldn't shoot 45 yards with the Muzzy's! Not that I will ever do that! But I kind of think since I got my bow tuned up better than last year, this is helping. Not gonna lie about this either, I was thinking of switching over to mechanicals because I could not keep consistent shots at 35 yards, with broadheads! I really think the paper tuning help me this year. I also feel A LOT MORE CONFIDENT IN MY SHOOTING NOW!!! ;)
Hoyt03
I know paper tuning will help you see how your fletching is cuttin the paper, but after you see this what do you do to change the flight? I can not get a good group out of fixed heads and i'm sure my bow needs paper tuned. How does this work, whats the process.
LifeNRA
I know paper tuning will help you see how your fletching is cuttin the paper, but after you see this what do you do to change the flight? I can not get a good group out of fixed heads and i'm sure my bow needs paper tuned. How does this work, whats the process. Paper tuning will help your arrows come straight out of the bow! Here is what I had to do. The very first shot was tearing high and to the right. I made the adjustments by moving the nock down and moving the rest to the right. After about three adjustments of the same direction, I got this. Its still a tad bit high, not the perfect bullet hole. But a lot of people said to me that a tiny high tear is still good! Reason is, I didn't want to move the nock anymore, since my rest has no adjustment up and down. That is until I get my new Whisker Biscuit! I hope this helps! You have two weeks, its very easy to do! All you need is something to hold a piece of printer paper about three feet in front of your target. But keep it level with your bow while shooting. Since doing this I have noticed from last year a big difference in the way the arrows are leaving the bow. Also, I have noticed that I had to move the pins very little while switching from FT's to BH's. But I also feel getting the shaft true with a G5 ASD tool(the shaft and the inserts), and having a wobble free BH on the end is also helping! Its all fine tuning. Good luck!
