Let's remember they did play the CANT"S !! there DB'S could not cover high school wide outs !! Payton could have shown a little Mercy!!

The Saints are a very respectible team, and Drew Brees is a great quarterback. Indy's offense and defense simply combined for a terrific team effort in this win. As for Mr. Manning not showing mercy . . . . I think the Colts know as well if not better than anyone about how a team with skill and desire can come from behind and claim victory (think of last year's playoff Colts/NE game). Indy showed New Orleans respect by never thinking the game was won until the final tick of the clock!

I know half of America has New Orleans in the Super Bowl this year but I really think they are going to have trouble making the playoffs. They had a lot of stuff go just right for them last year that probably won't work out the same way this year.

Anyways, the Colts looked pretty good. Out of sync on offense in the first half, but red hot in the second half. No surprise there. The defense looked pretty dang good too.

Yeah, their D looked really impressive. But this was one game guys. I don't see that D holding up for 16 games. That said, I'd pencil the Colts in for 12 games gauranteed, 14 is almost as likely IMO.

The Saints don't have the D to make the Super Bowl, but in the NFC, that's a playoff team.
