Have gotten just one pic of a buck in the last month or so between 4 cams spread out around the property here. Just happened to look out the back window about 45 minutes ago and what do I see:rolleyes:. These two youngsters came through the backyard about 60 yards or so behind our pool and they were in no hurry. Looks like both are still in full velvet. They kept looking back in the woods, never did see anything else come out, but the bigger one did make a scrape or work a scrape on the opposite tree line from where they came out of, close to where we used to see deer keep up a community scrape under a mature oak tree.

Does that bigger buck have brow-tines? He looks like a 5point

Did not see any brows on him Steve. I zoomed in pretty good, and he looks like a 5 pointer to me. Pretty poor genetics really, seeing as how he is likely a 2.5 year old. The other smaller buck is undoubtedly a 1.5 year old.

Here is a closer view of the bigger buck

Hmmmm, interesting. Looks like the same deer, and yes he was a 2.5 year old with pretty weak genetics. Never got a single trail cam pic of this deer only times we ever saw him were in the back yard and the morning I shot him. He eluded 3 to 4 trail cams around the property.

I would agree that does look like the same buck.

Isn't it great how you can have that many cameras and never get pics of some of your deer....:rolleyes::(:(:)
