mule659
Just curious what kind of boots everyone is wearing. I have a pair of Lacrosse Alpha Burly rubber boots in AP, Some Wolverine Ridgeline 600 gram boots and a pair od Danner Frontier 1000 gram boots for when it is really cold. I work in the footwear department at Bass Pro so I am always trying out new stuff...will probably be getting more soon lol.
RackBlaster
I have the Rocky Deerstalker Extreme, best boots i ever owned. Gortex, 1600 gram thinsulate super warm and super comfortable. Had them for 4 years and i am going to get a new pair this year. They are not made anymore but you can get them at few online stores still for around $250.
unioncountyslayer
Up until it gets cold enough to wear insulated boots I wear Red Head Bone Dry rubber boots, uninsulated. Once the chill gets here I wear my Danner Pronghorns. I believe they are 1000 grams. Probably too much for the weather down South, but I hate cold feet while on stand, and these insure toasty toes.
