wildside
Go Ball State/MAC! Pathetic is an understatement! At least my Alma Mater, Ball State, won today!!! Speaking of Ball State, I do believe that they were the one team that came closest to beating Michigan last year (when Michigan could actually play football!). And it took Minnesota triple OT to win over Miami of Ohio today (at Minnesota). . . So much for the Big Ten. . . go Mid American Conference (MAC)! mike
So much for the Big Ten. . startin ti look that way isn't. they said purdue and wisconsin are gonna be the ones this year outta the mediocre 10:D
Steven
Perhaps Michigan should start scheduling some Div II teams since they can't seem to beat Div I or I-AA teams. Maybe try a few high schools. I bet they could make state region finals at the high school level.
Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
Defense defense defense....everyone knew this was their weak spot going into this year...not sure what is up with the offense, put up some points last week but only 7 today??? another loss, and another game i didn't get to watch...oh well...i guess everyone has to go through a down year or 2 or 3 every so often...as much as i like Lloyd Carr, he won't be around next year, heck he's lucky if he is around next week. maybe he should start giving his halftime speech at the begining of the game, especially to the defense, they gave up 28 in the first half last week, 6 in the second, 32 in the first half today, 7 in the second half??? i dunno whats up, but life goes on...could be worse, they could have the history the lions have so go ahead, pour it on boys, i can take it...actually, i could care less about what is going to be said, i'll still be cheering on michigan next week and the week after, and so on... edit: as i said, i didn't watch the game, now i see what happened to the offense, Henne got hurt, and sat out the second half, said he is unlikely to play next week. AdvantageTimberLou
Plain and simple, they suck! Not to be mean but this was a redemption week, looks like another butt whooping and this was a big can that was opened up on them. To lose that bad at home? Come on, that should not happen. I see people losing their jobs after this season!!!!
craig mack
I'm a Michigan fan and I'm glad they lost!!! Lloyd Carr needs to go. They have never beaten a team with a mobile QB and a spread offense. They are so predictable and that all comes back to coaching. He's garbage and he needs to be fired now. They need to throw some money at a non-michigan associated coach. Bo is gone and its time to switch things up. I feel bad for Mike Hart and Jake Long but as far as Henne goes, he can carry Lloyds bags and go with him tommorow for all I care. Go Lions:D

Go Lions:D man, i hear this over and over from so called Michigan fans...i just don't get it. I agree, his time is up at Michigan, no doubt about that, but some of you say it in such an asinine way, its almost sickening...i believe he has done his fair share at keeping this program at what it has been up until this year.....winning almost 76% of his games, multiple big ten titles, a national championship...but yet people are treating him like he has never done a thing there. he deserves more respect than some of the Michigan "fans" are giving him, to think he needs to go is one thing...to say it the way some of you do, is another. As for Henne, your joking right?? He'll go down as one of the best they have had...at the top of nearly every QB record at michigan....far from being great, but far from being the way you perceive him. craig mack
Lloyds time has been up. If you get top recruits every year and continue to lose to your biggest rival and your bowl game year after year, I dont think you should be called a good coach. John Cooper did the same thing and where is he at. Bottom line is they're way to predictable and I'm sick of seeing it. You can be Lloyd biggest supporter if you want but I think he is a bum and have thought that way for a few years now. If he couldnt win big games with the team he had last year than he will never win another big one.

Nick
I don't see where you can put all the blame on the defense. Yeah, they did give up 39 points.....But what about the offense? Mike Hart, Mario Manningham, Chad Henne, Jake Long and they can only manage 1 touchdown against Oregon?? I think its funny. But don't worry Michigan fans...my dad guarntees a Big Ten championship and a victory over Michigan State.

buckbuster11
I think it's funny. Looks like Michigan has already mailed it in. I could see this season being really bad for them. To bad though, they have a ton of talent on that team.
