I went, unaware that they were gonna have me selling tickets all night long, but it wasn't hard or anything, and I was just sittin there with a buddy of mine more than I was selling anything. They had 2 packages, a duck package and a goose package, both worth around 500-550 a piece I would say. They were trying to sell 100 chances for those, and they would draw 2 winners. Since I was selling them, i figured I may as well buy one, and put down my $20. Later on, they had only sold about 50, so they said anybody could buy a 2nd one for $10 more. After they had sold 78, i realized If I bought another, I'd have about a 2-80 odds of winning. So I bought another, and it actually ended up being the last one we sold tonight. Fast forward an hour or so, they finally get to drawing it. I had one card at the bottom, and one at the top, so I thought I did pretty good with that.lol. They had a kid draw a card, and I heard him say my name to the announcer, i looked up, shocked, and then he announced that i won! I chose the duck package, since it had a shotgun with it, and theres very few geese around here anyways. So for a total of $45, plus gas to get there, I had a wonderful dinner(some of the best fish I've had in a LONG time) and I won a Benelli Nova 12 gauge, 3 1/2" in APG camo. Along with a dozen redhead decoys, a blind bag, a floating gun case, a decoy bag, neoprene hand warmers, a game strap, and a can coozie. I think I got a pretty good deal.lol. OK, sorry for the long post, I just wanted to brag a little. I'm not 18 yet so I couldn't sign for the gun tonight, I have to go out to the gun dealer tomorrow with my dad to pick it up.
