Gator
Hate to be the bearer of bad newxs guys, but it looks like Les Miles is headed to LSU. What's ya'lls thoughts on this? I think LSU has made a big mistake actually, but I guess only time will tell.

MCH
Re: Les Miles to LSU I'm sorry guys but I'm gonna have to disagree with ya'll. Les Miles was a great coach! He took over a team with a dismal 10 year record and then proceeded to make 4 bowl games! He's the only coach to beat Bob Stoops twice! Apparantly, he made some right calls somewhere. LSU just got one heck of a coach. Of course, as soon as Michigan decides to find a new head coach, Les will bolt, but I wouldn't be surprised if LSU is in a BCS bowl game next year. Mark my words guys. This is a sad day in Cowboy football. Especially if we promote Gundy like the Tulsa World is reporting. Everyone get ready for a couple of losing seasons, guys. And remember, you were happy to see Les go.
RyanH
Re: Les Miles to LSU Im not really Happy that he is leaving cause I know that He did alot for OSU! So Im not happy for him leaving! But on the other hand he has made some very costly calls! But I sure would like for him to stay! Cause he can learn from the calls that he made! Gator
Re: Les Miles to LSU I don't think he will have the same success at LSU that he had at OSU, guess we will have to wait and see next year, but ya know what, my GATORS got one hellaciuos coach in Urban Meyer, can't wait to see what he does!!! dogdoc
Re: Les Miles to LSU This is a BIG blow to OSU. Les Miles was an outstanding coach, outstanding recruiter, and an outstanding person. He will be missed. I honestly think he is the best coach OSU has had in my lifetime and that includes Jimmy Johnson. He turned around a dieing program to a winning program in one of the toughest conferences in the Nation. I hope Gundy can continue to build on what Les has brought to OSU! todd
RyanH
Re: Les Miles to LSU HEy DogDoc! Do you think Gundy has it? I dont! Les Miles was one HECK of a couch! He did awesome for OSU! I just think he made bad calls at times! But do you think Gundy has it? I sure hope he does! I hope he learned from Miles!

The_Kat
Re: Les Miles to LSU I'll agree he is a great OUT OF GAME coach, but in a game situation he doesn't see the big picture of multiple strategies. OSU VS OSU was a classic. We had the number 6 back in the nation on our team and he carried the ball little gaining a few yards each carry. Yet we continued to use Woods to throw the ball and we got nowhere. He was agood coach, but he couldn't seem to face the facts that his plan wasn't working always, yet he never changed it.....Need we remember Texas????
