nativetexan
I am headed to Texas in December and will be eradicating some hogs from my buddy's property. I am new to bowhunting and am wanting to try my luck on these hogs. Can anyone suggest a good broadhead/arrow setup for hogs since they are thick skinned? Still kinda on the fence about using a bow on them because I need to practice more. I bought a bow and had it set low (50lbs) to practice and get the feel with but it can be adjusted up to 60lbs, which I plan on doing before I leave. Not to mention I need to build up the strength in those muscles I have never used before. Thanks.
mule659
I would suggest a cut on contact head such as steel force...I am using the mini titaniums this year and they are sweet. They are flying great for me and every animal I have ever shot with a steel force head left a great blood trail. Here is a link to the ones I am using. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_95776_400014007_400000000_400014000_400-14-
