Switchback29A1 Posted September 11, 2007 Report Share Posted September 11, 2007 Busted 3 getting into the woods opening morning, didn't hunt the afternoon..had to go racing. Went this afternoon and didn't get into the stand till about 5:45. About 7:45 3 good does come from behind me from the woods to the soybean field, one a little bigger then the other 2 is leading them along, she gets to about 3 feet before i have a good shooting lane, i pull my bow off the hanger and clip my relase on...she decided she didn't wanna take that next step and turned around. As i drop my head in disbelief i see a good size doe right below me...maybe 3 or 4 feet from the tree. I need her to move maybe a grand total of 4 inches to the right so i can shoot straight down...she backs up and follows the other 3. I watch them meet up with 3 other does and head across the field.
