Brad6639
Ok so I broke down and did it, I bought a 3 pack of montec 100 grains for this fall. I also went ahead and got the diamond sharpener flat stone. I hated to spend that much, but Ive never heard a bad thing yet, and I do enjoy the thought of being able to touch up my heads myself instead of buying blades 2 times a year. Now, being Im new to them, is there anything I need to know or any tips you have picked up over the past couple years with resharpening, or do the instructions pretty much cover it? I demand the sharpest head I can find, I learned my lession last year on an 8 pointer that suffered for an hour because a head broke up and didnt get the job done as fast as it should have. I do like the design and hope to try one out on a nice fat doe, or (monster buck), this weekend!
craig mack
I have the stone and the other sharpener they make (cant remember the name of it) and they work pretty well. I shot 2 deer with the same head last year. I think you will like them. I'm sorry I dont have any tips, just read the instructions.

Brad6639
I watched the video's last night, I just wasnt sure if anyone else had anything to share. It looked like an easy process. Does anyone ever do it with oil or water on the stone. Also, does anyone think the blades would stay sharper longer if I put a small amount of oil or something like that on each head?
