c_lou
That Brandy Quinn goes on a Rothlisberger-esque 15-1 run and the Browns win the Super Bowl? If that happens I think the world should just stop spinning so muggs can freeze his man-crush in place.
MCH
I'm pretty sure if that happens, lou, the sports forum here would completely shut down because someone's head would be so big we wouldn't all fit. :D
buckbuster11
Better question. What would be ramifications of Brady Quinn coming out and goin 2-13 from here on out while pulling up the rear in most QB stat categories? Would the man crush still exist? Master_Chief
I thought that run was a team thing. Big Ben did that all by himself? I know the Browns are down right now, but hey it's one game. If the Browns are as bad as you guys say they are then I really wouldn't put much stock into the Steelers victory. muggs
I don't think that would happened for three reasons. We don't have a Super Bowl caliber defense like Ben did, we don't have a HOF runningback that can run the clock out after we get up on the scoreboard, and we don't have a HOF coach. If we did, Quinn could easily do enough to ride those large coattails to a Super Bowl. Heck, Ken Dorsey probably could. All you have to do is throw 5-yard out patterns and protect the football. buckbuster11
5 yard outs? Ben lead the league his first two seasons in yards per pass play. If you are going to talk trash at least do it with some sniff of accuracy DB.
Master_Chief
Accuracy. He led 2005 but was 2nd to Peyton in 2004. 9.17 to 8.89 YPA
buckbuster11
OMG...2nd to Peyton in 04....Ben is horrible...how could he finish second to Peyton. He must not have thrown a pass over 5 yards all season.
Master_Chief
Not saying he hasn't been good. Just trying to be accurate. Gotta get the digs in when I can. Can't dig on the games.
