When I checked last week the forums were not included as free. Just watching the videos was. I am glad they came to have them as free again since it probably was a typo of the webmaster.

As hunters we must stay together. I do not care what camo pattern you wear. Let us just share our hunts this fall.

Sorry Joe, but read a little further. The link you give is to join the "exclusive" club or the "mossy oak obsession". This from the mossy oak site.

Click here to Join the Obsession and get exclusive access to the most comprehensive hunting and outdoor website including an online TV network, hours of video on demand content and a huge range of other cutting edge features built specifically for hunters. Join the team today for less than $5 a month ($59.88 per year).

Also copied this directly from the site where you go to join you have the option of free or pay services

Click here to receive FREE access to the Mossy Oak online TV network and Mossy Oak Forums. After a simple registration, you’ll be able to watch scheduled outdoor programming right here on your computer.

As much as I dont want to promote a competitor to this site, I think in all fairness it is best to be honest here, and there was once talk of a similar "exclusive club" here as best as I can recall.

Thankfully though Scott asked us members right here about it, and gave consideration of the members thoughts.

TIME OUT!

First, I never said anything about paying for Forum membership. I just said "pay for what we get for free". Which is very true. I know the free Mossy Oak forum is still there because I went and visited the site to see look at Smackdown stuff.

William if you click on the link you get to read all of the benefits of membership. This what I was talking about. These things include:

1. Pro Blogs - We get David Blanton and T-bone for free

2. Video on Demand - Free for us on the top of the Realtree home page.

3. Photo Sharing - Free at Realtree Picture Post.

4. Tip and tactics - Free for us on the Realtree home page.

5. Mapping - Free for us on the Realtree home page header.

6. Field Journal - Free for us on the Realtree home page online journal.

7. Mossy Oak TV Network - I can check out Realtree TV from the homepage header.

So on and so on!

I realize that what they will pay for may be a little different, good for them. I never bashed the brand in any way. I am saying that Scott and Bill Jordon could have forced a similar pay system on us when Scott polled us some time ago. And so far he hasn't. Unfortunately the Mossy Oak guys were not given that choice or a majority chose this new idea. Either way I stand by what I said. Thank you Bill Jordon. And I will add, thank you Scott and all the others that make this my favorite forum. I do appreciate what you have given us.

I hope this clears things up.

I just got back from signing up at the Mossy Oak forums(had an account a long time ago but forgot the username). Anyway, the only negative I see is the fact that it makes you sign up to receive the e-mails from them. Why even have a checkbox for it, if its mandatory???

Anyway, sight looks good and the forums are definitely free.

Sorry Joe, but my perception of what you posted was that you were suggesting that the mossy oak forums were a pay for usage deal. Prior to my reply, you did not bother to reply to anyone else in here to say hey there was a misunderstanding and go on to clarify what you meant. From looking at some of the other replies in here on the first page, pretty safe to say I was not the only one who seemed to think that was what you were inferring. I was not trying to argue or discredit you in any way, simply saying that there may have been a misunderstanding and was trying to help clarify that if that was the case.

Dont understand your reason for jumping down my throat for trying to point it out either after looking back over this entire thread and seeing I was not even the first one to point that out.

I said the same thing during the pre-launch testing!:D
