Whose boy season starts Oct 1 and Who will go

There's no open season for boys in Ohio. :D

Same here in Michigan. :D

Now back in Indiana where I went to college, I definitely recall those years of "boy season" and my time spent hunting for a wall-hanger. :p It wasn't until many years later that I finally tracked down an awesome buck (aka my husband). ;)

Anywho - our season starts October 1, and I'd like to try and sit after work on the opener. Most likely, I'll get up in the stand at least one or two evenings that week, but no mornings until the weekend.

Ours is Oct 1st. Hopefully I will be out both in the morning and evening. I haven't set my class schedule yet (they don't start until the 24th of this month, I have it set this coming Tuesday) If I have classes that morning, I'll be in class, same thing as the evening. There will be other opening days. School is more important to me right now. The only time I will miss a class for hunting is when we head to the upper peninsula for gun opener. And even then, I try to set my fall schedule to where I will only have to miss one day per class.

Wisconsin opens this Saturday, the 15th. Our weather forecasters are calling for frost that morning with a high of 60. We went from a record high of 92 on Wed. the 5th to lows in the upper 30s five days later. Can't beat a frost on opening morning to get the blood flowing!

same here it's about 38 right now and i'm waiting to walk into the woods :D
