Tecumseh
The Remington copper sabots shot great out of my new trophy slugster barrel. The Hornady SST slugs were all over the place at 75 yards.I'm going to try the Winchester partition gold slugs and see what they do next weekend. MichiganHunter
I use Remington Copper solid 2 3/4 out of my Mossberg 695 and my gun shoots a 2 to 4 inch pattern at 150 yards. My longest shot ever was at 160 yards and the Copper solid DROPPED the 190lb buck in his trax.....Now here in Michigan we do alot of deer drives and i use the cheaper Remington slugers for that and they are devostating up close and out to about 100 yards. But always try a couple of different slug brands and sizes to find what patterns best. OH by the way the buck in my pic is a 135 1/8th inch 8pt that weighed 212 dressed, I shot him at 85 yards the buck went 15feet and dropped over. The shot was slightly quatering away and the Copper Solid entered behind the right shoulder and exited THROUGH the left leaving a hole larger than inch around. I have also found a slug in the back of a deer shot by a friend and the Copper Solids open into a tissue distroying flower. GOOD LUCK AND GET'EM BOYS
Bowtech_archer07
I shot Brennekes at first and hated how they shot, couldn't get a pattern with em. So my dad and I started shooting Winchester 2 3/4 in. sabots and we both are loving em!!
johnf
i used to use Brennekes but now im using winchester 2 3/4 rifled slugs, there really cheap and work great for me, im comfortable to around 75yds Me too. I go around 2" at 75 yards. I could go out to 100 I think, but will try to limit myself to around 50.

Guest Mr.Z
The best slug period is the Hornady SST. At 200 yards they drop 6.8 inches. Z
David_218
I use Remington Buckhammers in my 20 gauge Browning Gold Deer Gun. These seem to have the best accuracy plus they are heavier 1-oz.

bluelund79
Winchester Super X 2.75in Sabots...Deer I got this year was shot at 30 yards, so any slug would have been fine. This is just the one that my gun likes the best for groupings...
