Trigger
Wow, long time since I have been around this neck of the woods, good to know there is a place to get all my hunting questions answered though:). Anywho I have a question on eyerelief on binoculars. I am looking into buying a new pair and was wondering what exactly it means and what would be a good range for me to look at. Thanks
c_lou
Eye relief is a personnel thing. First do you wear glasses? If so you are going to need more ER. If I can remember correctly the normal human pupil can only dilate so much that a ER of 7mm is about perfect for most. Any ER that is longer than that you start to get more than you can see. If you wear glasses, look for ER in the 20mm. This is all pulled from knowledge of telescopes and eyepieces. Not that it should differ from binoculars. I think I just really confused myself.
