RTF
As far as I am concerned. The new regs suck. The 220 will be phased out IMO.
Adjam5
Is Rockland county still closed to trapping ? A while back they banned it county wide. Trapping is still open in Rockland county, and has been for the 12 years I've been living here. I think its Westchester county that has banned trapping. That PETA broad( Ingrid Newkirk) lives in Westchester, thats probably why...Oh yeah...I forgot, the Clintons live there too. Good luck on finding a spot to run a trap line and a spot to launch an arrow in Rockland. This county has NO public land open for hunting. I am fortunate to have a chunk of woods behind our home that my son and I are able to participate in the helping with the reduction of whitetails and other critters . The DEC book says Rockland is a gun county...YAH...find land large enough to discharge gun, let alone a arrow. Every piece of woods is built upon.
