Trijicon Accupoint 3X9X40

Ok guys...I've had a chance to play with my Trijicon scope and have to give it two thumbs up. Very clear optics on par with my Nikon Monarch and a little brighter than my VXIII. The best thing about the scope is the European post reticle with the fiber optic/ tritium point. Tritium illuminates in complete darkness and the adjustable fiber optic enhancement increases the reticle point brightness in low light conditions.

What sets this scope apart from all others though, except LER scout type scopes, is the fact that it is meant to be used with both eyes open. This makes it super easy to quickly acquire the target, especially while moving, and take a fast, accurate shot. It is by far the fastest scope I have ever used. The self illuminating reticle means no batteries or on and off switches.

I can't talk about toughness of this scope yet but I have used a lot of their tactical optics in the past and they are brutally tough. I'm assuming their hunting scope will keep the same high standard.

This scope is a little pricey....470 wholesale...550-600 retail...but I think it is very well worth the money.

Trijicon makes GOOD scopes. I've had one for 15yrs. I've got a 3x9x56 Spectrum. You can practically see in the dark with that scope. It's amazing. My brother has been trying to buy it from me for years.

This scope is tough. I had the gun line snap break (bad snap) and the rifle dropped about 6ft to the ground. Well needless to say my hunt was over that day. Checked out the gun, cleaned it up, and went to the range. The scope was still sighted in! Folks that's TOUGH! I've had lesser scopes move point of impact 6inches at 50yds from just having the gun fall over being leaned against a tree. BTW, because that stuff does happen, I never have a bullet in the chamber when I lean the gun on something or pull a gun up.

You're gonna enjoy that scope a LONG TIME :)
