arrow32
What broadheads have you all decided on this season or are you staying with what you know works. Last season I use Spitfires 85 grain. I switched to Thunder Head XP's 100 grain for this bow season. So far Im pretty happy with how they fly with my setup. Great BH's from what I can tell so far. Guess when I shoot a deer with my bow is when we will find out how they really work.
Guest Finn
I've heard good things about Thunderheads. My next heads will be Slick Tricks
Hardwood_HD
i switched from spitfires to Montecs last year, they seem to be a solid head
JimPic
I'll be using Magnus Stinger 125gr and Razorcap 125gr heads this year
Tony
last year i tried a switch and couldnt get the head to shoot no matter what i did. so i went back to my old standby Muzzy 75s and had great success and accuracy. so this year i am staying with my proven broadhead. a Muzzy 75 on a Goldtip 5575 Pro Hunter. i dont care what i shoot this head and arrow combo out of it just plain works. Shoot Strong Tony
Guest shtr
I tried 40 broadheads this year and I am sticking with the spitfires and silverflames. I really like the Bunker Busters but I just have to high a success rate with the spitfires to abandon them.
Guest bowhunter56
G5 striker,,,first one i found that flies like a field point, although the spitfire flew great also..

Randy
I had to try the Rage 3 blades, I'll post field test results tonight hopefully!! :D
Turkeygirl
I shot Thunderhead 125 grain last year. I switched to 100 grain Thunderheads for this year. The 125 I think were a bit too heavy for my Beman ICS Hunter 500s
Brad6639
Im shooting 100 grain montecs this year. I like the solid 1 piece design and the ability to resharpen them. They seemto fly alright as well.

JimT
Muzzy four blade 100gr heads for me again this year. They work for me...
Smitteken
Sorry but I've had bad flight with the thunderhead. I've killed deer with them and they are very tough, but they are hard to spin test and tune. Then I switched to spitfires and didn't care a bit for them. I'm a fixed blade guy. So I had a friend talk me into the Muzzy 3 blades. They are tough, inexpensive, readily available, easy to tune, easy to change blades I'll stick with these for a while. One day I would like to give the slick tricks a whirl. I also have a sonic pro in my quiver for other vermin, like they say they are sharp as heck and fly just like field points. MUDRUNNER
I'm shooting Crimson Talons again this year. They've worked for me the last few years and I'm happy with them.I did shoot a G5 Stryker and it seems like a great head that I might try to use,it's just a little smaller than my Talons, but flys great. Guest adrenaline_junky
I personally think its all in the hunter's own opinion. I've used Thunderheads and killed a lot of deer with them. I've switched to the G5 Montecs they fly great and are virtually indestructable. Good Luck and hope to see some pics soon. Guest antlerhead
I will be using rocket steelheads this year, they always seem to fly just like my fieldpoints. I've used expandables ever since they were introduced and have never been dissappointed. alot of folks dont like expandables but until i have a bad experience with them i am sticking with them. I've killed lots of deer with them at many different angles, but as we all know its all about shot placement. good luck this year. antler
Tominator
I'm trying the Rage 2 blade this year. If I'm not happy, I still have 6 Muzzy's.
Missed160
I have shot Rocky Mountain Advantage's for the past few years & wasn't planning on switching....... till I went to Gander Mountain one evening & they had Rocky Mountain Snypers on sale for $9.99 - I have never shot mechanicals at a deer, but everything I hear about these sounds great! VABuckSlayer
I shot Muzzys for 17 years till last year when I bought my Bowtech. I shot Rage 2 blade heads because I couldn't the Muzzys to fly good (at 310 fps). The Rage heads were awesome! This year I'm trying Slick Tricks. The fly awesome so far and I can't wait to see what they do to a deer. They have to be the best flying fixed blade head I've ever seen. I'd rather shoot fixed than mechanical but I like the Rage heads a lot! Eric
