Guest Andrea
Can I get your autograph??????? http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,297119,00.html
Texan_Til_I_Die
If he ever becomes a huge star, I can see that autograph being worth some major bucks. Especially if he ends up playing for Boston! That kid better hang on to it. BTW - No, I really don't think it's a good idea for celebrities or sports figures to do things like that, but let's not blow it out of proportion. Guest Andrea
I'm with you Texan......that kid should hang on to that and PRAY that guy gets traded to the Red Sox. LMBO!!!!!!
Guest Finn
That's funny....that's what a Yankee should do when a Red Sox fan comes up for an autograph. I'd expect a Packer to do the same thing to a Bears' fan
craig mack
If that kid doesnt want it, I will take it for sure. I think its pretty funny. I he didnt know about the Yankee vs Red Sox rivalry before, than I bet he does now.
toddyboman
I don't see anything wrong with it really.... The kid is a Red Sock fan and he is going to a Yankee player for his autograph..... We all know the rivalry there so to get an autograph like that I think it would be an awesome. Just my .02.....:)
muggs
I bet that kid's parents don't let him play tag either...and they probably suit him up in full body armor when he wants to ride his bike down the street.
VABuckSlayer
That is so rediculous! If the Red Sux fan wants a Yankees autograph than so be it. That is no big deal what Duncan wrote but the media has to run with it a make a big deal out of it. The kids parents are going to run with it because then may get something out of it. Duncan will probably have to give them something of value to make it look good to the public. I had a women run into the hitch on my truck while I was in a Wendy's drive threw. Guess I should have got a neck brace and taken her to court and see how much money I could get out of her. That's quickly becoming the American way to make a buck! BR44
Bet anything, there's more to the story. I wouldn't put it past the parents on prompting the kid to go over and get a autograph ! specially if you dress him up with a cap, shirt, etc.. as a way of "here's this in your face"
Nick
This doesn't surprise me. If the parents can find a way to get a law suit out of it, I'm sure they will try. Thats the only reason they are making a big deal out of it. GREED.
BowJoe
I think it's just sour grapes for the parents of a Sox fan. Duh, of course they are going to be hacked over anything a Yankee does to upset their little angel. I bet he gets braces out of this one. Too bad he didn't have red hair and say things like "Gosh" and "shucks" and "jeepers Mr. Ya shouldna done that but I'll pose for a photo op in all my Sox gear anyway!" Thank you for the popularity boost Mr. Photographer. I bet he doesn't even thank Shelley for his being voted class president and the Sox catering to him in the near future for publicity. I'm sure the Sox will have to dry his tears with season passes and tortilla chips and his dad will enjoy the beer and mom will enjoy the triton tron. What a bunch of Schmucks. BowJoe
I guess the moral of the story is, "Be careful what you wish for." Because a Yankee might just give it to ya!
