craig mack
I cant believe Leyland left Zach Miner in as long as he did last night. That was a joke! If he was trying to save his bullpen than he made a mistake. They cannot afford to lose any games especially to the Indians so why gamble by leaving Miner in so long when he was lucky to get out of every inning he pitched in last night. They are not playing like they want to go to the playoffs. Their bats werent much better either towards the end of the game, they had Polanco on second with one out and couldnt get him in. Looks like they might be saving me some money on playoff tickets.

craig mack
Verlander vs. Westbrook tonight...this might be looking up for you guys real soon. I'll be in attendance. Lucky you. They just cant afford to lose anymore games if they want to make it. I just hate to see them play so well the first half of the season and than lose it in august. AdvantageTimberLou
He should have pulled Zamaya in the 8th, that was brutal, they had the game but Zumaya just choked out there! If they do get the Wild Card they better get in gear as the other teams are looking pretty good right now!!
Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
The tigers have been playing well the last few weeks, going into yesterday they were 8-2 in their last 10, and had a 5 or 6 game win streak going. The problem is that the Indians and Yankees are playing just as good. There is no chance at catching the Indians right now, they have to hope for the Yankees to slip up a couple games. I don't see them making the playoffs, but it won't be from lack of effort, they are doing their part, but this late in the season you need help from other teams, and they just aren't getting it. muggs
Yup, 3. The Tribe is slowing relieving pressure off the foot they've had on the Tigers throat for the last month.
