Here is the brassica/rape/turnip mix . These pics are from 2 weeks ago so it should be alot higher. It took over an hour to broadcast the seed because i had to walk thru a foot of mudd due to all the rain we had. I am surprised it even grew that well. Could not mow the weeds because of the mudd but i am not worried about it.

Nice layout! You have a good mix of annuals and perennials. Putting your annuals next to the cover is a good idea - they generally draw deer a bit better come later in the fall. I noticed the weeds in the picture. I wouldn't worry about them either. Deer are select eaters and will eat right around them. This year instead of Roundup, I kept my annual plots disced up every 3 weeks or so till I was ready to plant. Now the only weeds I have are a few milkweed sticking up. Are you able to tell us the sizes of those plots. Just curious about the scale of your map. Keep up the good work.

The whole field is a little over 6 acres, so the 2 bean plots are about 1 acre each as is the turnip mix. The clover and chickory plots are about 3 acres all together. As far as whats next to the plots is all corn this year but is rotated with beans.
