Hunting Land (ownership)

I hunt on 20+ acres down here, and 80 acres in the U.P. we own none of it. The 20+ down here belongs to my uncles neighbor, got permission to hunt last year, he is a pretty nice guy and told us we could hunt as long as we wanted. only down side is that it is 45 minutes away. the land in the U.P. belongs to my uncles (my dads twin brother) father-in-law. the land has been in the family for years, and we have been hunting just about every opening day of gun season with my uncle for the past 12 years or so. really no risk in losing any of the land i hunt any time soon, we (my dad, cousin and I) are usually up there a day or 2 before my uncle and other cousin get up there for gun season. We usually have to clean up after the people who are in the house last (my uncles brother in law) but it's no biggie...we try to have firewood cut up and everything in order by the time everyone gets there, we do our fair share, me and my cousin do dishes everynight, we do most of the cooking. and IMO it still isn't enough to show how greatful we are that they let us hunt there.

We own 77 acres a lot of it cedar and a small meadow. I also hunt a really nice piece of property that holds some nice deer on it that Dan's uncle owns . But 85 % of the time i hunt our own land.

I live and hunt on 450 ac. my family has been on for nearly 100yrs and me for half that. Several life long friends own 1000s ac. around us I can hunt but usually don't have to. Late in the season I hunt at the club I belong to doing drives on bean fields and hardwoods that the farmers have nusiance permits for, lots of fun with the buds.

My parents own a farm

My parents own a 350+ acre farm in upstate NY. So I used to live and hunt on that. However, I now have gotten a job in the Buffalo, NY area. It's a five hour drive so I'm looking for options in western NY to hunt when I don't have time to go back home. The buck to doe ratio is way out of whack and deer management isn't what I would like, however it's great having your own land to hunt on.
