muggs
I'll take bridesmaid over not getting an invitation to the wedding anytime. Heck, we're not only invited, we're in the bridal party. We're partying of the limbo bus, we're dancing in October... Things could be worse. Guest Finn
You know, I bet the Buffalo Bills would probably rather have not gotten there than choke every year in the championship game

But you have to admit Eric, having that big piece of hardware and having guys put it over there heads is pretty good. No one remembers 2nd place!! Just the first loser! Start winning some Stanley Cups and some NBA Championships then we can talk! LOL!!!
MCH
Hate it when someone brings my team into an argument that I could care less about. You know, I bet the Buffalo Bills would probably rather have not gotten there than choke every year in the championship game I highly doubt that. Sure they wish they would've at least won one out of the four, but second place is a lot better than not being there at all. Ask any player from any sport out there: "If you could be in the championship game but only have a 5% chance of winning it.....would you go?" Name me a player that would say no and I'll show you someone that shouldn't be playing sports. As much as I would love to disagree with Muggs here, I'm firmly on the "better to be second than last" side. BTW---I'm pretty sure that Eric and I have had this same argument at some point and time, except he was arguing the other side. Of course, that was before Ohio State finished second a couple of times.
