My buddy just called. Just crossed the border back into US from Montreal. He was Caribou hunting in N. Quebec and shot a monster Bull!!!!!! He had it green/rough scored up there: 413"~!!!!!! Was told it was the biggest rack to come into Schefferville this season. He has a real story. Seems the natives are uprising up there.Claim all the hunters/outfitters are changing the caribou migration. (See SCHEFFERVILLE UNDER SIEGE topic on Canadian Outdoorsman forum. He says they were lucky to make it out of schefferville to hunt.....all flights leaving schefferville are cancelled until further notice(go out TO the camps). Well, with all the problems they had, he feels blessed to take such an animal. He has it on tape swimming across the lake in front of him, shaking off, raking the bushes and then coming in to surrender!

WAY TO GO ROD!!!!!!!!!

I kneww you guys were gonna say that! Unfortunately, we're pretty much in the dark ages when it comes to technology! he just got a Digital camera, but doesn;t have the cable to download the pics. Will try to get it ASAP. I don;t have a digital camera myself. Gonna go over and take a few pics with my cell phone.......but that won;t help you guys! I promise, as soon as we can get pics posted. we will!

If he goes to any shop that will print the digital photos they will also make him a CD with the photos on it if he asks.

Then he can simply upload the photos from the CD and no cable is needed.

I recommend he get a Card Reader instead of a camera cable. Card Readers don't waste camera batteries and are usually MUCH more user friendly in getting them to work. Most card reader drivers are already on XP so installation is simply plug it into a USB slot.

Congrats on your friends big BOU! Can't wait to see it. 413 inches is ALOT of bone!!!

SOrry it is taking so long! He gave his memory card or stick- whatever you call it- to one of his co-workers who was to give it back to him today on a CD. I saw pics of it and it is a beautiful rack. THe tops are huge and palmated. Was a huge body too! THey estimate well over 400 lbs.

I hope to have the CD and post pics on Friday!

SOrry it took so long guys. Still don;t have the pics or CD, but my buddy posted the pics on another site- he goes by Trapperrod: http://forums.bowsite.com/tf/bgforums/thread.cfm?forum=10&threadid=343243&MESSAGES=16&FF=10

Maybe someone here can post the picture. He still hasn;t had it officially measured. He found a guy in southern N.J., just has to take it down there.

Thanks folks- I'll tell him.

It will be interesting to see what it scores. TO be honest, when I saw the rack in person, I expected it to be a little bigger. But what do I know? It didn;t seem much wider or taller than some of his other racks, but the tops sure are massive- I'm sure if it makes B&C it will be due to those tops!

I'll let you all know what it officially scores when he gets it measured.
