spineshot
Just wondered if anyone has used this to help them follow a blood trail?? I am color blind and struggle bad when trying to find red blood on leaves or grass. Just bought one of these and wondered how well they work at night, or day. thanks
PotashRLS
I bought the Winchester one off Ebay last year. It is silver and looks like a long flashlight. It didn't work that well, especially in the rain. It seemed it made all moisture/liquid stand out, not just the blood. Its now just an expensive flashlight with red and blue leds. I am considering buying the Primos one if the reviews are good. My brother and I do most of the tracking for our group of buddies and average about 10-15 track jobs a year. To me money is no object if it means the difference between finding them and not!!!!
Guest adrenaline_junky
I have the primo's one and love it. It's a great addition to any bowhunter's arsenal.
wtnhunt
The wife got me a gerber carnivore blood tracking light last year, but only killed one deer and it was in the morning, so I never really got the opportunity to try it out. Guess if it helps us recover just one deer we might not otherwise have recovered it will be well worth what she gave for it.

Can you elaborate a little on how it helps? What in your opinion should be the selling point that makes someone go out and buy it? I really want one, but want to make sure it works well(unlike the one I bought last year:().
