How does he compare to other mature deer in your area? I'd definitely shoot him but there aren't any deer I've seen around here with that kind of mass. I think he's probably 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 years old but I'm no deer expert. If he is a trophy (or a really nice deer for the area) take him. But, if there are a lot of bigger, more mature deer, let him grow and see what he turns out like next year. Good luck, Greg
