Griz
Welp it was a no go yesterday. But I did see 4 deer which 1 of them was a buck. Heard some sparring going on to and also heard a hog moving through but I never seen him. The weather was terrible. It was hot and humid. We did get some rain and that did help some but man I'll be glad when it cools down... Well back for round 2... Were fixin' to head again. The temps here are 75 with it being humid at 95%... Oh well...It's not going to stop me... Catch yall later...
Swamphunter
Well guys...I laid the smackdown on a nice fat doe last night right at the end of legal shooting time. I nailed her solidly in the front shoulder and buried the arrow all the way to the fletchings. I saw the blood pour out of her and she ran about 60 yards, started to go down, and then recovered a bit...went another forty and disappeared behind some brush. I watched for a few seconds and saw her tail flicker and I believe she fell. I walked back to my truck to get my floodlight as it was raining and I wanted to pick up the trail pretty quickly. As I got back to my stand, my battery failed and I didn't want to wander aimlessly with very little light and stir up any remaining sign. I backed out and am heading out at 9am with a buddy of mine. Hopefully should have some good news by this evening....

M00N
Hello everyone, cutter10x had PM'ed me asking me to make you guys and gals a signature for your team. I hope you all enjoy the signature! I ask that you please save this image and upload it to your own photobucket account to use it in your signature. I don't have the bandwidth on my photobucket account to host the signatures for everyone sadly. To save the image just right click it and choose Save Picture As... or Save Image As... and it will allow you to save it to your computer. Once saved to your computer follow the directions in this post [LINK] to learn how to upload your image to photobucket and get it inserted into your signature. Thanks and good luck to everyone with your hunting seasons!

Griz
Well Team here's my report... We went out this morning. At about 8:30am. I had 2 does and 3 fawns working there way to me. The oldest doe was 25 yards away from me. But she still had about 3 steps to take for a clean shot. The wind picked up alittle and in turn made a branch fall out of a tree next to the mature doe... That doe jump straight up about 4 foot and away from me... For a minute I thought she was going to come back but she just walked out the same way she came in... The funniest thing I have ever seen was early this morning while I was sitting there. I was watching this squirrel high in a tree jumping from limb to limb. When all of a sudden it was going to jump to another tree and the branch that he landed on snapped bring him to the ground. The dude thumped the ground hard. For a minute I thought the little burger was dead. He laid there for a bit until he came around then up the tree he went. He climbed about half way up the tree and started barking at me like it was all my falt... I had to laugh. He was a tuff little booger... After a bit he went on his marry way... Well this evening I head out to my stand and the guy that owns a place across the creek where I hunt decided it was tree pushing day... Oh yeah...He was about 80 to 100 yards away from where I was at making all kinds of noise... Yeah I was alittle ticked off. But hey what can you do... Well needless to say I didn't get any hunting time in this evening... The temps this evening is 82 with a heat index of 95... Hot and muggy... So I think I did the right thing by backing out for tonight. It's suppose to cool down this coming week which I think is going to be alot better...Unless that yahoo comes back with his dozer... Ken I'm sorry to hear about your doe man... Those coyotes are a real pain... Good Luck yall...
buckee
Signatures Hey, Everyone now has the ability to upload their sinatures, directly from your computer, instead of having to host them somewhere, and Everyone now has the 30k limit for their signature upload, (instead of 13.0 k) directly from your computer. Also, everyone now has the WYSIWYG editor, even if they did not before. They can change it back if they want, but everyone now has it. Everyone can thank Scott and Brittany (at Greyloon.com) Right click on the picture(signature) and "Save image as....". choose a folder somewhere in your computer to save it in, such as "My Pictures", which is found in "My Documents", so you know where to find it when you upload. Then go up to the toolbar in the forums and click on "User CP", and "Edit Signature" (upper left hand side in grey strip toolbar) Then scroll down to "Option 2 - Upload Image From Your Computer" and click on the "Browse" button. Then go to the folder you have the picture stored in and click on the picture. Then just click "Save Signature" . That should take care of your signatures.
