Good news and bad!

:( I wanted to wait until I was sure and of course I was. I shot a buck( half rack 8 pt.) sat evening and when we got it home I grabbed a camera that was having issues that I was unaware of. I normally use my digital but this time I grabbed the 35. My son shot 2 pics and I went to cleaning. Well after sitting down for the night I find out this info from my wife! Sure enough when we get them developed, they did not come out. That camera is now in a landfill somewhere! So I thought we had at least nine on the board and now zip. Hopefully I can connect in Illinois and make it up. Sorry team...I didn't even want to tell you.

RC...another one bites it from Slick Tricks....30 yard recovery!!!

Let me know when you shoot them.

I'm having a tough time finding them. No one around here carries them. I will have to order them on-line. Where do you get yours?

I did order 6 new arrows last night for the slick tricks. 3 of them will have Exturkinator wraps.

Got out and went squirrel hunting this past weekend and was lucky enough to kill 5 grey squirrels and 1 nice big fox squirrel (my first one ever!) that I took to the taxidermist this morning to get mounted. :D I was the only one out of 4 of us that went to get their limit. On Monday morning we headed back to the woods and only ended up with 5 squirrels between the 3 of us. I only got 1. :( Ah well, I had a great time even though it was over 90 degrees outside both days we went. No pics unfortunately, we had to get those squirrels skinned and cleaned as fast as possible.

While walking through the woods I saw plenty, plenty, plenty!!!! of deer sign. Lots of trails wore out all over the place. Only found one rub on a tree as big around as my pinky finger. :( It's still early though for all that. We're expecting cooler temps later this week so hopefully that'll kick things into action! We saw a small 4 point in the front yard at my cousins house eating under the chestnut trees and that was the only buck for the weekend. Plenty of does for the stew pot though, so if anything else, I'll get a doe like I said in an earlier post. Y'all keep your fingers crossed for a nice buck!!!!

Signatures

Hey,

Everyone now has the ability to upload their sinatures, directly from your computer, instead of having to host them somewhere, and Everyone now has the 30k limit for their signature upload, (instead of 13.0 k) directly from your computer. Also, everyone now has the WYSIWYG editor, even if they did not before. They can change it back if they want, but everyone now has it.

Everyone can thank Scott and Brittany (at Greyloon.com)

Right click on the picture(signature) and "Save image as....". choose a folder somewhere in your computer to save it in, such as "My Pictures", which is found in "My Documents", so you know where to find it when you upload.

Then go up to the toolbar in the forums and click on "User CP", and "Edit Signature" (upper left hand side in grey strip toolbar)

Then scroll down to "Option 2 - Upload Image From Your Computer" and click on the "Browse" button. Then go to the folder you have the picture stored in and click on the picture.

Then just click "Save Signature" .

That should take care of your signatures.
