tedicast
You guys have some nice bucks on your cams. I haven't seen an antler yet this year from the treestand. The weather has been horrible. Calling for 85 degrees plus again on Saturday. I'll go out for a couple hours in the morning, but if it is that hot, I'll bail on the afternoon sit. rhine16
I'm going in the morning for my first morning hunt of the year. I can not wait to watch the sun rise and hear everything wake the woods. Only problem is, it is suppose to be 70 at daybreak. I'll update around noon. boomer
Only been out 2 times so far had a couple small bucks come by. The weather has been warm and windy for about the last 2 weeks. Hoping it will cool down soon. Leaving in the morning for 3 day duck hunt the bow is staying home this time. When I got back out to western Nebraska later this month to duck hunt it going to come. I always seem to see some nice mulies in some of the crp fields out there.

buckee
Signatures Hey, Everyone now has the ability to upload their sinatures, directly from your computer, instead of having to host them somewhere, and Everyone now has the 30k limit for their signature upload, (instead of 13.0 k) directly from your computer. Also, everyone now has the WYSIWYG editor, even if they did not before. They can change it back if they want, but everyone now has it. Everyone can thank Scott and Brittany (at Greyloon.com) Right click on the picture(signature) and "Save image as....". choose a folder somewhere in your computer to save it in, such as "My Pictures", which is found in "My Documents", so you know where to find it when you upload. Then go up to the toolbar in the forums and click on "User CP", and "Edit Signature" (upper left hand side in grey strip toolbar) Then scroll down to "Option 2 - Upload Image From Your Computer" and click on the "Browse" button. Then go to the folder you have the picture stored in and click on the picture. Then just click "Save Signature" . That should take care of your signatures. bucknut
Well i have some bad news. I shot a doe saturday night at about 40 yards, it must have been about 44, so long story short there wasnt much for blood and we tracked her for 2 hrs that night and 3 hrs the next day and came up empty handed. Im sick to my stomach with the fact that there might be a dead deer still out there. I know it happens every know and then but it sure doesnt feel good let me tell yah. rhine16
I've been there bucknut. In fact, i lost a near pope and young buck last year. That absolutely killed me, but it happens. Thats just part of bowhunting. You'll get another chance. Good luck!
c_lou
I have been out a few times in the past couple of days. I don't know where all the deer are. I haven't seen so much as a tail. Hopefully with a nice cool down this weekend they will start moving a little more.
drkillemquick
Well I am officially married now, so I hope life settles down here pretty quick. This weekend I am moving the rest of my wifes furniture to our house, but hopefully at some point this weekend or next week I'll be able to get out with the bow before gun season opens on the 5th of november! Can't wait for the 5th however as I have all of the first week off!

Mirage
Congrats on getting married! I was able to take a doe while in maryland. She was was kinda small so im still waiting for a buck but if need be i can count her in. It was the first morning hunt in maryland and it was a great day. I missed a monster while in maryland and it made me sick let me tell ya. You know hes big when its getting dark and that bucks heading to you and you can see antlers on his head. With mass well that happend to me. Im going back in 2 weeks for a couple days and see if i can close the deal with him. I did take a big ground hog and a fox while there. It was a great time. I passed on sevral bucks and does. Holding out for mr big. I went hunting last night here in florida and saw 4 deer a doe and fawn came in under my stand and at about 30 min till dark had a nice shooter come in but he busted my movement.....what can you do but try again. so anyway good luck guys and keep trying hard! tedicast
I haven't been out since the last week of Sept. Between work, and the weather, this has been a horrible season for me. I'm off tomorrow, but they are calling for rain, and 25mph-plus winds. I'm gonna have my truck packed, and alarm set, and I'll decide what I'm doing come morning. Hopefully gun season will be a little better.
boomer
Just got back from western nebraska hunted waterfowl in the am and deer in the afternoon. I saw alot of does both whitetails and mulies only spotted a couple bucks but nothing big. Went out last night around home had some does and a small 4x4 within 50yrds and a nice 4x5 a little past them coming right to me. but the yotes started barking within a 100yrds past me. Never saw a deer for the rest of the time.
