Hey,

Everyone now has the ability to upload their sinatures, directly from your computer, instead of having to host them somewhere, and Everyone now has the 30k limit for their signature upload, (instead of 13.0 k) directly from your computer. Also, everyone now has the WYSIWYG editor, even if they did not before. They can change it back if they want, but everyone now has it.

Everyone can thank Scott and Brittany (at Greyloon.com)

Right click on the picture(signature) and "Save image as....". choose a folder somewhere in your computer to save it in, such as "My Pictures", which is found in "My Documents", so you know where to find it when you upload.

Then go up to the toolbar in the forums and click on "User CP", and "Edit Signature" (upper left hand side in grey strip toolbar)

Then scroll down to "Option 2 - Upload Image From Your Computer" and click on the "Browse" button. Then go to the folder you have the picture stored in and click on the picture.

Then just click "Save Signature" .

That should take care of your signatures.

Congratulations to those who filled a tag already. Our rifle season here starts next Sunday (the 21st) and my first day hunting will be the Tuesday after that. I will try to hold out for something with ten or more points but there are some big eight points running around that may be hard to pass up. I have the second week of November off to concentrate on hunting the rut so hopefully I can make it happen. Good hunting!

Ok guys RT is on the fritz again....

here's the story

Got in my stand early..NW wind..PERFECT for that stand..Im on a major runway that goes from bedding to cornfeild, Im on the downwind side.

A little 5 pt comes out and mills around under me for about 20 minutes..then he snaps his head back and looks in the direction of the bedding area..I look over my shoulder, as Im facing the way the deer will be going, (quartering away shot), there he is and he is coming....I lock my release and get ready..its DEAD quiet, and he's gonna be at 15 yards max broadside....he stops and is lookiing around...the little guy is now following him and I figure I better start a slow draw..I get back and find my spots and then slowly lean over and down..pick a spot,"Lord help my arrow fly striaght"... and squeeze....THWAACK!!!! I knew right then he was mine!! last I saw the arrow had zipped right thru! clean double lunger!! he ran 35 yards stopped..and Im watching for him to fsall over..I know he's dead... then he staggers and runs in a tight right hand circle and cork screws into the ground.. "Thank You Lord"!!

Well I didn't shoot a deer this morning but I did manage to arrow a hog. I had two doe's come in and I did have one at 30yd but she seem to get nerves when she got close to were I shot the hog. I was hoping the bigger doe would come out from behind the tree for a shot but they spooked and walked off.

  • 2 weeks later...

Yesterday I had the slowest hunting day yet this season as only one doe and a fawn were seen. Overall I have passed on a half dozen bucks so far, all young deer but one was a nice 5x5 with a ton of potential. The week of 11/11 through 11/18 I will be on vacation and the prerut/rut should be going strong. Maybe the mature buck I am looking for will present himself. Congratulations to those who have scored and best of luck to those still in the chase.

Well guys the future is looking bright. Had a huge 10 point come in at 40 yards. But i didnt want to take the chance of shooting and missing and scaring him off to another county because my crossbow is sighted in at 30 yards, so I let him walk. Im positive he'll be back with the rut just kicking in and i have a awesome set up. Im going to aim for a doe the next couple of weeks inless that big boy comes in.

Just letting everyone know that im still alive since i havent posted in awhile.

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE.

Early this morning my deer hunting came to an end this year. While still hunting I managed to see this buck before he saw me. He is not the multi pointed monster I hope for every year but he is a solid 4x4, 8 pointer eastern count. Now I will concentrate on elk for the rest of the season and would sure appreciate a little snow. Good luck to all who are still chasing the deer of their dreams.
