OK, if that's the consensus, I'll PM buckee and have him tack on "The Gang of Nine".

Good luck to everyone - my season opens tomorrow morning, but the weather looks terrible. High around 90 with a 15 mph south wind. Oh well, it still beats working! ;):D

Tell me about it, I'm sufferin in this stuff right now!!!!!

im going to be sick guys... this morning, opening morning, i go out and sit not thirty minutes and have a doe feeding under me. i thought about it and said its early season and maybe a nice buck will come along... usually not but man did a nice eight come walking in.... he was kinda spooked for some reason. i hunt ohio with my cross bow, i take off the safety and fire. nothing! the safety was not all the way disengaged so i take it all the way off and take aim again, the deer heard the first click, and fire, he drops right into the shot and between my shot and him dropping = high shot. trailed him for about 600 yards on drops of blood, loose the trail and there he is feeding on the hill across from me. its a relief to see him bound off and be ok. i am truly amazed at what these amazing animals can take and be alright. i hate that the shot wasnt perfect, you never want to hurt an animal if you can help it but i am glad to see that he was ok, i recovered the arrow.....back out tomorrow

Went out yesterday (saturday) saw absolutely nothing. Sat till about noon and it got too warm so I headed out and low and behold I came up on a turkey.......too bad we don't have a fall season here! I seen a nice track walking in to my stand location so maybe next weekend I'll have my chance, hopefully it's a buck!!

Hunted Saturday and Sunday mornings. Saw 4 does, 10 turkeys and about a half dozen hogs. Still way too hot for the bucks to move much. There were 5 of us bowhunting this ranch and only one guy saw any horns. He had two small bucks sparring in front of him, and he saw a nice one, 150 class, at about 200 yards. I may hunt here near where I live one or two afternoons this week, if I can get away from work early. Otherwise, I'll be heading back out west next weekend. Forecast is calling for lows in the 50's and highs in the mid - 70's. MUCH better!
