dosse
I hunted thursday through sunday and went on 6 hunts and zero'd on every single one of them haha its been in the low to mid nineties and we had some wild hogs move in and mess the deer up a little but mainly for me they arent traveling far enough to give me an oppurtunity. I think they are eating then walking 20 yards and bedding up for the day. Supposed to cool off by the weekend though and i will be back in there with them
Huntress
Finally a cold front blew in last night! Rained a little yesterday afternoon but not nearly enough. Was in the upper 40s when I got up this morning and the deer were moving. Just not by me...lol...Had a doe at what I think was 25 yards last night. But, with a climber on my back and the rest of my junk with me, I had a hard time trying to get a shot and it was almost too dark to see my pins. I decided to just stay hunkered down until she passed so not to spook her and try to move in closer tonight. Saw several deer this morning, they were all just too far out. Temps are supposed to drop even more tonight and the highs are only supposed to be in the mid-60s tomorrow. Will hunt tonight as well. Have only missed 4 or 5 days since season opened so it's not lack of trying that I haven't got a deer. Eventually I am going to run out of rookie mistakes and connect on one. I'll just keep hunting... Good luck guys and congrats to y'all that have already stuck one, or several for some of ya! Lol! Marijane
SuperMn106
With the temps starting to cool down and with me working closer to home I will be able to make it out in the woods tonight. Hopefully I can stick a doe.
Guest okla_bowhunter
Well, i went out last weekend a few times, but didn't get anything, but the temps are starting to drop a little here too, so they will probably be moving a little better this weekend. Best of luck to everybody
buckee
Signatures Hey, Everyone now has the ability to upload their sinatures, directly from your computer, instead of having to host them somewhere, and Everyone now has the 30k limit for their signature upload, (instead of 13.0 k) directly from your computer. Also, everyone now has the WYSIWYG editor, even if they did not before. They can change it back if they want, but everyone now has it. Everyone can thank Scott and Brittany (at Greyloon.com) Right click on the picture(signature) and "Save image as....". choose a folder somewhere in your computer to save it in, such as "My Pictures", which is found in "My Documents", so you know where to find it when you upload. Then go up to the toolbar in the forums and click on "User CP", and "Edit Signature" (upper left hand side in grey strip toolbar) Then scroll down to "Option 2 - Upload Image From Your Computer" and click on the "Browse" button. Then go to the folder you have the picture stored in and click on the picture. Then just click "Save Signature" . That should take care of your signatures. Huntress
Well, no luck with the hogs. Put out some sour corn yesterday and hunted this morning for a bit. Gonna go back this weekend after that corn has had a chance to chum up the area. Should be good times, atleast a lot of fun. We're going camping and fishing in between trying to kill some pigs. Good luck guys!

Huntress
Well, I atleat finally got to shoot AT a deer...lol...I missed a doe at 25 yards and ended up doing surgery on a black locust to get my arrow back. More like the tree did more cutting on me than I did...ouch, those thorns hurt. Alot. Lol... I'm headed out tomorrow morning and gonna try some rattling. My hunting buddy rattled in a 150 class two days ago but couldn't get a shot. He hunted about 2 hours north of me and had bucks half way chasing does and had several bucks sparring quite a bit. It's getting that time! I'm pumped, especially with these cold temps. Good luck guys!

Randy
I just got back from hunting, I had two fawns under my tree. There was a doe and another fawn up in the woods. I'm hunting a river bottom between a bedding area up in the woods and a food plot on the other side of the river. Anyways, I have the wind in my face and I hear this doe snorting up in the woods!! She is about 80 yards from me. I thought,... there is no way, she can smell me! she kept up her tirade for about 5 minutes!! Well, she made the mistake of coming down and visiting the two fawns I had under my tree!! One screaming Maxima Hunter with realtree snow camo wraps and a brand new 100 gr. three blade Muzzy out of my PSE Firestorm Light, and she is now Backstraps!! That'll teach her!! Guest okla_bowhunter
Well, nothing so far, but it's lookin good. The cameras still show the big boys comin in, but only at night. It's still too warm, but our youth rifle season is this weekend, and although i would like to shoot one with my bow, i can't pass up the chance for a early rifle season. So i'll be out as much as i can these next few days, and may shoot a doe just to put some points on the board. Good luck everybody
