My buck

Well I finally got some pics on the computer of the 8 point that I got the last wednesday night. He is the buck that I saw early season and have been waiting for all season. I really liked the way that his rack is high on his head, when I got him on the ground it was really rewarding to me and made my season. I have seen 15 bucks during the season that I passed to get him and it felt really worth it in the end. His body is huge at 185 lbs!!

Here he is :D

Still no luck here team :(. I am having a really miserable season so far, I am almost to the point to where i am ready to quit for the year. It started with my rest breaking the second week of bow when i shot at a nice 8 point. then the following week i grazed t he back of a doe, and the week after that i missed another doe. then, one day we went out to the property, and seen a car there, went out and someone was hunting, i didn't know who it was at first, so i call the land owner and leave him a messege, thinking maybe he gave someone else permission to hunt the land. to make a long story short, it turned out that my aunts bonehead husband, knew where we were hunting and had heard about the deer we were seeing and decided to tell his son to go out there and hunt!!!:mad: After figuring out who the guy was, i told him to leave and not come back. but the following week we were up at deer camp so i have no idea if he is still going out there. i'll be out there either wednesday or thursday (the only days he had off work and the only days i have seen him) and if he is there i don't plan on being as nice as i was the first time .

then, at deer camp for gun opener, it is usually my dad, my cousin, my uncle and another cousin up there opening week, and my uncles brother in-law and his 4 friends are usually showing up the day we are leaving. this year, they decided to ALL go up there the same time we were up there. talk about an uncomfortable situation. at first we heard about this and decided not to go, then we were told it was just going to be 2 extra people, and one doesn't hunt, so it wasn't a big deal then, but we got there and sure enough they were all there. 11 people, 10 who were hunting, on 80 acres of land :( I didn't even want to go out, but i found a small section where no one was and just sat there, no one got anything (gee wonder why ) my dad got a nasty cold on the way up there, the night before we came home, I got it, pretty bad to, still have a bit of a cough. and that brings us to today. After all of this, my head just isn't in it anymore:(:o:(. after muzzleloader season I might just be hanging it up for the year and look ahead to spring turkeys :( I have seen a ton of deer at the place we hunt, but i will have my muzzleloader with me so I should be able to connect if one comes by (but the way things have gun, i wouldn't doubt if something happened:o)

oh and Treewalker, don't forget to get that bad boy entered ;):D

And a big CONGRATS to everyone who has scored so far!!
