craig mack
My buddy's neighbors kid rode his 4 wheeler through our plot!!!! I couldnt believe it, we went their to do some last minute triming and seen the matted down tracks from the atv. I was so mad, especially since I did it all myself this year. The kids dad came over when we were there and said he didnt know any better. Its about 10 inches tall and leafy, I dont know how he shouldnt have known, especially since he knows we do it every year. Its not my property so I kept my mouth shut but I wanted to slap the father for thinking it was no big deal!!! Oh well, I hope it recovers. Just had to vent. Ravin R10 man
Thats just GREAT!!!..know how ya feel Craig..had a county mower run down 4 feilds while mowing the inside ditch..1 week from windrowing the trefoil crop!!..I billed the Co. for $300.00 in damage and got it too... the plot may recover to some degree..but its the idea of having some yo yo run it down.. Id stress thats a no no in the future... any wheelers here are expected to operate under strict rules in crop season
wtnhunt
If it is not your property, would ask whoever owns it if the kid has permission to be on the property, if he does not, would say something about it to the boys father. dogdoc
i had that happen to a plot of mine several years back--and this was MY property. The neighbors lost all rights after that!
Sam16
Just got word that my smallest food plot of about 1/3 of an acre was mowed yesterday by the caretaker... I think it was an accident, but still... a lot of backbreaking hours of work for those plots. Sorry to hear about your situation...

wildthing
should recover...how far away is a frost in your area? Rain and sunshine will help alot. It is hard to invest time and money into someone else's property. Things like this happen. Maybe see if you can lease some rights for specific times of the year. QDMAworks4me
We had a neighbor that was riding on our property and would not stop, so we sent all of our neighbors a certified letter stating that if they were on our proprty again they would be arrested, you know they get it because they have to sign for it. We have not had an problems since. If you are close with the person who owns the property you could have them do that. Just a thought
