Got a few woodies and a couple of honkers between the four of us. Pretty warm for ducks if u ask me. My buddies son had his first duck hunt where he could actually shoot, so that was cool. Usually its some yahoos crowding us or skybusting or people fishing 75yds from the decoys that annoys me on this weekend. This year it was my own hunting party:). Between my buddy claiming he or his kid shot a goose that i know i got...i fired first and it was on its way down when they started blasting. Or my dad of all people ( this issue drives us both mad so i cant believe he did it) shooting my side of the flock, which he did TWICE!! I didnt open my mouth about the goose thing...not that big of a deal...there will be plenty more where that one came from. And i wanted to make sure that my friends son had a good time and will want to keep goin duck squashin'. MAN AM I GLAD OPENING WEEKEND IS OVER!!!!!!!!!
