Guest Hunter36
Here are a couple pictures of my goat. Spotted him probably 3/4 of a mile off. He moved towards a saddle on the ridge above him so I moved around to cut him off. Really didnt expect what happened next. As I moved up towards where I though he may be I spotted the top of his back only 35yrds away. He had his head down feeding so I ranged it drew then he spotted me and ran. He ran a half cricle around me so I ran towards him to cut him off. luckly when he stopped all I saw was his horns so he couldnt see me. Right as I got drawn again he was around 45 yards and he ran again. I topped the hill to see where he went and spotted his horns again. I ranged drew then crept forward at full draw a couple steps. placed my 70yard pin just under where the white makes a corner on his should and released. He went 70 yards fell over, then got up after a little and went 100yards and that was it. Including the walk up to cut him off this all took 1/2 hour. I couldnt believe it! This was only my second Pronhorn hunt ever. The other hunt last year I spent 10 full days after them and came up empty handed. I havent got him scored yet but his right horn is 13 1/4 and left is 12 3/4.
